Well, if one owns a cow in BT, more likely he wont go there for another cow. There's risk in whatever we do. It only depends on how we weigh it.

You need to know the "seller" of the chips there first. They are guys or gals wearing a jacket and have a card printing their comapny name

Ask from them, they can provide you with more info

Get a name card from them, they will tell you how to contact the people in singapore to do all the paper work for you. All you need to do is then take the boat to Batam center, or Sekupang, cant remember which one liao, then they will ferry you to the casino, B4 you go back, they will refund you the cash and your passport as well. THe casino is at the second floor. On the 4th floor, there is another section, however, the amount played there is much higher. Also, there is a Jupiter Club, where it is mostly JACKPOTS.

Try the Goodway hotel. Last I heard is that they even pay the departure fees and tax. You need to go to the counter at the entrance, just give them you name and they will refund you. Take note that you have to take your passport on THE DAY YOU GO, after 12am, they will not refund you the cash, but return you the passport only. And the last ferry is 12 midnite. Planet if I remember correctly, the bus to the ferry leaves at 9.30, much earlier.

Better check out the detail when you are there. I am not too sure. There maybe changes to the timing of the bus service.

If you are going for the first time, take to Batam Center. A taxi ride will cost abt 50k. TAKE ONLY REGISTERED TAXI OPERATORS only, for your own safety.

Water front has a casino also. Biggest so far as I know or been to in Batam. Usually very crowded in weekends.

Nongsa also has one, not so big.

Meals are free at Goodway and Planet.

Good way: Get a voucher at the counter. Then you can eat anything at the entrance, where you see they selling MEE, BAK KUT TAY, Burger, Fried rice and so on. Meal only up to 8.30pm.

Planet: Get a voucher at the entrance at 2nd floor, go to 4th floor and the food there is buffet style. Meal times are breakfast, lunch and dinner, supper usually congee, available after 11pm.

At waterfront, holiday inn, you got to pay 5 dollars sin, for buffet.
