Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Thanks for all the great inputs and viewpoints!

I know many are frustrated about the plight of Man U.
Even SJR also concede that Man U is no longer an “elite” club after becoming “mediocre”.

As Ibra had pointed out, Man U are still trapped in the SAF glory days. Dream lala land.
SAF had since retired, leaving a legacy behind which his successors found it hard to keep up. 12 years had gone by in a flash after the Devils last won the Title in 2012. Albeit SAF last season in charge.

I think every club goes thru challenging phases.

For me personally, I will still support the club because this is the very first English club I know since I was a kid.
Back then, when SAF took over, they weren't in a position to challenge for the then Div 1 title.
I never for once think of switching to another club. Man U is the only club I will support...past, present and future.

I'm even more inclined to watch future Man U matches now because I know this is the time when they need our support.

I have full faith they will become an elite club again!

Glory Glory Man United!

In a way wat u say is true...a good manager with good tactics cannot win games with lousy low-skilled players...some people just cannot be trained more as that is the limit of their capability..n u cannot teach old dogs new tricks

Butcher (#6) becomes puppy.
so this butcher of Amsterdam hv now becum the mouse of Amsterdam...he really needs to be sold asap n get a taller bigger size defender to prevent more goals being scored against them when he is on the field...so actually wat the pundits like Neville, Carragher etc etc r criticizing him abt his size earlier when he 1st came to United is quite correct after all

To be fair to some of them, they did try to fight back for RA unlike during baldy's time nobody bothers whether they win or lose their games ..n who is this 'some of them' ??...that is only the Capt Bruno...the others r just hopeless, don't know how to create or assist or how to score goals when they r just in front of the opposition net...n also their defenders don't know how to defend to prevent goals going into their net esp during corner kicks n set pieces...kena so many goals from these already...on the other hand they rarely score goals against their opposition when they r given corner kicks n set pieces

Talking abt these POWER players who got so many managers sacked... actually they can play well as a team if they want to despite their individual limited talent provided it is a manager they like e.g RVN...u can see them play their hearts out for him...sometimes they r fed up being played out of position by their managers so they don't care to play to win

Yes, agree with u...like OGS b4...just let RVN be caretaker manager until it is proven he cannot make it by losing a lot of his matches b4 turning to RA...like OGS he was successful as interim manager so they confirmed him as the permanent manager n he went on a good run for 2 seasons b4 the players decided to throw him under the bus again by losing the last few matches for him

I won't believe that Ashworth can't do that.
Also read that too many cooks, that is pure mismanagement by Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe was unhappy with Ashworth's ETH decision, but the decision was made as a unit, not as an individual, but Ashworth takes the blame.

Ratcliffe may know something about football, but he does not know enough to run Man Utd.
Even his french club is mediocre after all these years.

Gentlemen, it would appear that we are fucked.
Well, at least the Glazers get fucked as well.

1 thing I feel Amorim is doing too much at the wrong time is rotation.
The players can't get to play together often enough, lacking on field understanding particularly when playing under a different formation.

The players play well 1 match, get a feel of how things are, but can't enhance cos next match rotated out.
And when they come back in, play in a different position, and start from zero again.
We have to rotate, but there must be a consistency.
Look at Amad, right wing all the way, and how he has performed.
Rest of the players rotate all over the place, except Dalot.

We have a glut of central midfielders, maybe have to start converting Case into central defender instead.
Don't think he can cut it in Amorim's 3-4-3.

Amorim has too much media to do, the more he says, the more potential to mess things up.
Need him to concentrate more on the soccer.

Shape and identity is nice, results would be better.
Yah, u said it boy...RA is following exactly the footsteps of his predecessor baldy by tinkering with his 1st XI...changing them every game according to him to learn abt how his players will play in actual matches...that is a very costly way of knowing his players play...so the same shit is happening, they r losing every game when they keep changing their 1st XI...players get confused n not used to playing with new formation or colleagues...this is happening right in front of his eyes n he still can't see it...sad for him...

just like baldy as long as he continues to chop n change his team on the pitch like that, guarantee he will lose the matches esp when they r so weak to defend against corner kicks n set pieces...n they never learn their lesson how to defend against corners after having suffered 2 in the arsenal game n allowed 2 more in the Nottingham game in the very next match.. sigh...they deserve to be punished by their opposition teams n lose the game ...now any team big or small know their weakness n will know how to score against them ...if RA don't wake up from his fantasy he is going to suffer the same fate as baldy

The prob is not with the manager… the players is the real prob… too many dead work lying around and to clear up this mess take years to do it.. as long as it the current set of players nothing will be change… don’t talk abt challenging the title they can’t even get into top 4 next season…

Look at those so called mid table team last time… where are they now? Brighton? Forest? Even Bournemouth is higher position in the table than us…
Look at their team of players and ours team of players… don’t tell me our players are lousier than them?

And who are who blaming? Again the manager? Tell RA to bring his entire sporting squad over to swap and I bet with u they will be challenging for the title

It dec and seriously I am not putting any hopes on this blood sucking players anymore… watch less man utd matches so your blood pressure won’t go up my fellow utd Bros
Haha, this word "massively" suddenly is becuming a popular word when the football world talks abt things happening in MU popularized by RA

Can't agree with u totally that it is the players fault or inabilities n not the managers' ...look at the way how they play for RVN who they apparently like very much by winning all the 3 matches for him n drawing only 1...with the same set of deadwoods they lose or draw every game for baldy...so it all depends on whether they want to play for the manager or not n this depends on the manager not making them tulan with him by sidelining them or playing them out of their preferred positions

Yes, u r right all the previous mid table teams hv gone abv them now...it looks as if their managers know how to make them happy n hungry to score as many goals as possible when they play on the field ...now u can't even talk abt them winning the title or even top 4...they r lucky if they end up in the bottom half of the table or even might be relegated if they keep on saying the new manager needs more time to know how his players are playing

And Amad too...he did all the dribbling and attract the Forest players to him, then lay off for Bruno (who was totally unmarked) to fire in the 2nd goal.

Yes, they see Amorim no up. As said, Amorim is no OT icon. He is just a nobody at Manchester in spite of his success at SCP.
Amorim will need to chop off those lazy, bochap useless players asap and get players who trusted him at SCP like Geovany Quenda and Viktor Gyökeres.
