Unfortunately, there's no budget flight going from PP to HCM. That's why was posting here hahaha. If it's safe i'm fine with the ride, since can be a road trip experience.

Any senior out there familiar with the coaches and location of the bus station?
I had read alot online but seems like outdated. Any advise? Thanks

not sure in Cambodia... but thats the amount paid in vietnam... I m expecting cambodia to be much cheaper since less developed and quality not that good...

You can try Sinhtourist... I use Sinhtourist before... not bad and safe... it seems like the journey is just 6hrs ride... since likely 1 or 2 break points...

The road trip itself should be no problem....... just like from SG to Ipoh.
But be aware if the bus is stopped at the roadblocks set up by the police/soldiers....... if they take a fancy to your stuff they will find excuses to confiscate it so dun bring along any hi tech stuff with you..... I always carry an old handphone, disposal camera and cheap watch only

Hi all, posting some images of the journey from PP to HCM by coach. You can get the tickets from the hotel receptionist but will cost abit more then you get it off directing from the bus ticket counter. I bought the ticket for USD$15 from the hotel, not wrong if you get it direct will cost around USD$10. You also can call in to book and collect it on day you leaving.

The bus conductor will collect your passport when you board the bus. The coach's route will have to cross the river by boat which is the interesting part, also have a stop point for lunch before the immigration. At the immigration, they will return your passport and you have to exit the PP at any booth on your own and return your passport to them when boarding the bus. When entering hcm, you will wait for your name to be shout out by the conductor inside the immigration counter. The rest of the journey is normal. The bus will end in bus terminal at Phạm Ngũ Lão in Dist 1.
