Yes my bro, that is why I said its the journey and the companionship you have. The coming together of two bodies joining in unison of body, mind and spirit to transform into a synchronized entity. Its through practice that two will come into sync, and its through fixed guidelines as mention that these levels of synchronization can be achieved.

I beg to differ a little still..Such connections are not achieved by practice. There's no standard way, nor is there any SOP. It can only be achieved by the mutual understanding of the other half, also depending on how much he/she knows about her/him too.

Somehow, I do personally feel that tantric sex isn't just about what goes on with the sex and the synchrony.. bringing in bits of the surrounding or situations does give that extra feel of personal touches shared only between the couple..
It's like chakra. The chakra from your inner self, and the chakra from the surrounding, moulding together, bridging it all together. (I'm not really sure of how chakra works, it's just an analogy)

For example,

I happened to be reading a couple of books on yoga (specifically kundalini yoga which has tantric roots). Much as popular literature like to describe it. Tantric sex is linked to the practice of yoga. Its aim is the same as yoga's which is to awaken the kundalini (or the serpent) at the bottom of the spine. The end result is the elevation of the human consciousness to a higher vibration/level of energy. Much as the Americans want to believe it, its not all about orgasm (who whether giving it receiving). The life essence from our sexual organs are the primordial source of life force (which is called the prana in yoga or qi in Chinese). Strangely prana referred to in yoga does mean breath.

Just sharing my findings.

have been devouring books in this area for months. ... and no it has not improved my sex life. Gizbabe it does take practice but it's looks more like yoga and not sexual positions haha ... and oh yes meditations. Btw Tibetan b uddhism also has a tantric tradition but somewhere every time it reaches America it acquires a sexual conotation.

Btw gizbabe just curious. What are you looking for? A deeper meaning in life or a fb?
