I was already in a grumpy mood due to the terrible drive to Port Dickson, and it got even worse that we had to wait for a long time just to check-in, due to the large number of guests lining up. I just sank myself into the lobby sofa while Susan queues up and Irene looked after the luggage.
After what was almost an eternity, Susan finally came back with keys in hand and led us to our chalet. The wait had been worth it, as the chalet was even more luxurious than I imagined! Two king-sized beds side-by-side with mosquito netting (the classy-looking type) over each, and a huge, huge bathroom which revealed the seawater underneath!! It was so huge that the bathtub they had look puny in it! The bedroom window opened up to the open sea, and there was a small balcony stood over the open water! What a luxury it was indeed! That alone subsided my crankiness a bit. Susan: What do you guys think? Nice? Irene was still exploring the place... Me: Wow... this place is even more amazing! Must have cost you a bomb! Susan: Oh, not to worry about that. As long as you are happy! I smiled at her, truly touched that she would care so much about me. Irene then came back from her ‘exploration’ of the bathroom, already dressed down into her bikini: Irene: The rain has stopped! I’m going to the beach! Susan: Do bring along your beach robe, dear.... We are in Malaysia - they are not used to seeing so much flesh under so little clothes!! Irene complied and soon darted off on her own, leaving us alone in the room. Susan: So... you want to rest a bit? Maybe take a shower and nap? Me: Oh yes that sound good... but what about you? Susan: I’ll keep you company; I want to have some rest too. Go take a show now...
