pls name me just 1 single game this season where Voronin made an impact at the v least...i am not even asking for a goal fm this pony tailed piece of shit...n dont forget that Voronin is supposed to be a striker, so effort does not cut it (assuming his effort counted for something in the first place)...the chap who puts in 100% effort n at least makes some impact is Kuyt although he lacks creativity...Voronin sld never be allowed to wear a Reds shirt again period...
now viz Babel...no doubt this lad appears to be mercurial...however i dont think Rafa has helped matters by continously not starting wif Babel, particularly when Torres was unfit n going wif Voronin instead (n sometimes Ngog who is younger n more inexperienced) when it is clear that Voronin just cannot cut it at this level...Rafa is to blame for killing this lad's confidence n dont forget it is Rafa who paid over 10m quid for Babel...also keep in mind that this is a WC yr n Babel is desperate to get into the Dutch squad...so it wld make sense that he wld probably at least try n be more motivated to perform on a consistent basis

pls stop making excuses for Rafa...why did the Reds need to bring in Kyrg as a stop gap measure in the first place?...this chap is clearly too old n slow n does not hv the legs for the EPL/CL action...he is useless...u want to talk abt a real significant stop gap measure that Rafa missed out on probably because of Rafa's stubborn attitude...Michael Owen...freebie on a pay per game pay per goal deal...what was the downside?...n this is a player who was keen to be a Red Man again n also motivated by this being a WC yr...

which is why i said i m more of a conventional fan. brought up to feel that hard work is more important than talent. voronin is a hard worker, but of course, if u compare him to kuyt, then it is unfair. but kuyt also dont have much creativity, but he epitomises the team i grew up watching. hard work and relentless determination actually paying off. so, my fault for being sentimental towards hardworking players.

we all know that voronin cant make it in the premier league, but hertha berlin didnt want to pay the transfer fees. i dont work at LFC, so i do not know why babel is not getting selected ahead of voronin. but from the field, it seems that rafa values voronin's work ethics rather than to chance the real babel turning up, which all i can say is, not very often at all.
i dont know about u, i hate it when journalists rave about a certain player coming back to form based on a good performance in 1 game after zombieing for a few games. consistency is the key, actually. judging the guys based on a couple of games is very unfair. but that is just me.

kyrgiakos has not been given much playing time to get used to the english league. but have u seen him playing for boring greece when they won euro 2004. i hated him then cos he was so reliable at the back and his determination and willingness to put his body on the line really stood out. now, he is in a new team with new teammates, not playing regularly and yet u decided to judge him. even if he doesnt have speed, he has more experience than u give him credit for. at 1.5mil, dont think one can get any better than kyrgiakos. and ayala is simply still not ready for the first team.

oh my god!!! michael owen!!! i agree with u that rafa is stubborn, but michael owen!!! it's your prerogative, but to me, michael owen should never wear the liverpool shirt, ever again. owen is like an ex-gf to me, who chose to leave me for another man when i was down. forgive can, forget also can. so many years liao... but to reconcile and be in a relationship again, sorry... i cant do it. again, that is just me talking.

PAP??? i dont know, but LFC is a blue collar club. thus the fervent support. dont get much help from the bereaucrats cos they support the rich teams. think manure, juventus, real madrid and barcelona. liverpool supporters are usually supporters of the underdog, very much against autocratic govts. i would like to think we are the goldsteins in george orwell's 1984.
i m sorry again if i offended u. maybe i m just too fanatic about liverpool for my own good. but in principle, rafa to me, is just like my wife (no, my wife doesnt look like him). she is a very good wife and mother, but she overspends sometimes and it affects us financially the following month. and sometimes, she snores. and sometimes, she leaves me with our child at home to go drinking with her kakis. sometimes, i cant stand it and quarrel with her. but i would never think of divorcing her and get another mummy for my child. overall, she is doing a good job. things that nobody knows except for me and my boy. but people do see her splurge on designer heels and go drinking until i have to go pick her up from the nitespots.

supporting LFC is very important to me cos LFC represents values which coincides with what i hope to be as a man. an underdog standing up to the autocrats, armed with not much talent, but full of determination and pride. so, next time, just ignore me cos i come in to reply with a full head of steam. that's what most people here do to me, well except for rahl and beck.

mourinho is just unproven if he has a limited budget. but he has earned my respect. his chelsea team won against all odds. they did not get a single favour from the refs and they conquered all. i would like to see that determination in his chelsea in the liverpool team. he bought well, cos he bought a lot of fighters. his best being essien.
there is 1 thing i agree, in rafa we will still trust... but mourinho is actually the traditional liverpool manager. just that i dont think liverpool can afford him. just my 2 cents.

Bro, I totally agree with you on this one... He left Liverpool as he dun think that Liverpool can win anythings under rafa. After He went to Real, they 1 cup also didn't get but Liverpool got the Champions League.

the only rant i have for rafa is that he always looks ahead into the future. he is always managing with the next game in mind. i confessed that during the fulham game, when torres was subbed out in the 60th minute, i was hoping for fulham to score and rub it in the face of rafa. so that he will learn that bloody lesson if this happens often enough. fulham deserves respect which rafa failed to accord, and liverpool got beaten. other than that, dont think anybody has anything to begrudge rafa...
if there is anyone to blame, it is the 2 clown owners and the bloody idiot moore who sold out to them. and will someone tell souness to shut his fucking trap??? everyone in the world can criticise rafa, just not him!!! he is the biggest bungling idiot who brought liverpool down!!!
i dont know about u guys, but supporting liverpool is different from supporting some kungfu-kick team. remember the years when chelsea were dominant and the supporters of that kungfu team all went underground??? cos they couldnt take the ribbing. think why they get so much stick when they dont win???
supporting liverpool means we are here, regardless whether we win any trophies. not as often as we like, but we are still here. liverpool dont win that many trophies, but at least we dont need to hide when they are not winning. but the honourless knight has got 1 thing right. it doesnt matter if his team loses 4-1 to liverpool at old toilet. it is only 3 points, the same 3 points he gets from beating the weak teams, or teams managed by steve bruce. only his fans get insulted for getting walloped upside down, not him. and he knew that his fans wont get lost trying to get to the same underground hole to hide from the total humiliation.
in rafa we trust. YNWA.
I love your post....... YNWA!!!!!!!!!! Once a red always a red (liverpool red n not scum red)

Voronin is useless wif a capital U...face facts Bro...again i ask u a simple Q...name me just 1 game this season where Voronin made an impact...?...man if Shanks, Paisely n gang were "sentimental" like u i dont know where this great club wld be...

do u know this for fact?...perhaps they did not match the px Rafa was asking for...but it is clearly a big mistake keeping this useless piece of shit on the books...anyways i heard that Voronin's wife hates living in the N of England...so he sld hv been packed outta of Anfield period...
ya well Rafa is clearly wrong on the Voronin/Ngog vs Babel choice...particularly when it is clear to all that the Reds lack creativity this season when Torres n Gerrard r unfit or out of form n wif Xabi gone n everyone waiting for Aquilani to start...the only chap left is Benny...so really it is no brainer...play Babel n hope that he sparks to life...even if it is just for a few minutes supplying a brilliant goal, like in Lyon...which u shall never get that fm Voronin even in a hundred yrs...ironically i note that u yrself hv conceded that Voronin "cant make it in the premier league"...so why the f#@k is he allowed to pull on a Red shirt in the first place?...

Sammi sld hv been given another contract...plain n simple...Kyrg is another useless piece of shit...he may well hv cost the Reds qualification to the next stage of the CL...wif that diabolical defending of his in the dying mins in Lyon...

wif emotional tosh sentimental thinking like this the Reds r doomed to mediocrity...like what another chap said in a post abv...the Reds wld hv probably thumped Birmingham last night but for poor finishing...it is clear that the Reds lack another striker wif the ability to score goals(apart fm El Nino)...do u want the Reds to win or rather dwell on sentimentality?...Owen v Voronin, Owen wins hands down...n both were freebies...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
no worries Bro...cut n paste especially for u
i too sense that Rafa may hv lost the dressing room after seeing the looks on Torres n Benny's faces after they were subed during the Fulham match...n the clueless haunted look on Rafa's face after both the Fulham n Lyon matches also speaks volumes...in any event i gotta a hunch(like alot of others) that he shall be in Madrid by the end of the season...
however before we talk abt bringing in a new manager of top calibre...i think the ownership/$$$ issues need to be resolved first...because no top manager worth his salt is going to take on this job under such difficult n uncertain conditions...
in the meantime i guess the next best option is to get an interim manager...King Kenny looks like the obvious choice although i personally hv my reservations abt him...but under such circumstances i guess the club may hv little choice...
what is paramount now is to ensure that the Reds secure qualification for next season's CL...nothing else matters...n yes it going to be a tough fight wif the likes of Spurs, Villa n Man City v much in the mix...but i think Reds still stand a fair chance of taking the 4th spot provided this present malaise in the dressing rm n on the pitch is dealt wif before Christmas...
Mon night's match agst Birmingham is a v impt one...Reds need to get back to winning ways in the EPL asap...come on u Reds...
painful worrying times for all of us Bro...but i hv seen worse times before in the 35 odd yrs that i hv supported this lovely club so we must all take heart...fm darkness shall come light...hopefully sooner rather than later...
to me i think there r 3 chaps that can probably put the Reds back to the pinnacle where they truly belong provided the ownership/$$$ issues r resolved in a reasonable manner...Mourhino, Hiddink n Capello...wishful thinking on my part perhaps but i still think the Reds hv the cache to draw such managerial talent subject to the proviso abv...
Rafa has had his chance...n he has probably taken the Reds as far as he can...tks for CL05' n last season Rafa...i still wish him all the best but think his time is up at Anfield...

Haha nice analogy bro, good to read something down to earth in a time of gloom and darkness.
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
another cut n paste for u Bro...
it is a fact that Benitez has spent 229m pounds on 76 players, too many of them mediocre/duds like Degen, Lucas, Dossena,Plessis, Sissoko, Morientes, Gonzalez, Voronin(well he was a freebie but still hv to pay his wages) etc...sold Bellamy, Crouch and Keane and released Hyppia leaving the Reds far weaker in both experience and leadership...
it is a fact that Benitez has made a serious transfer miscalculation this season...by buying GJ (although he is a good attacking wingback albeit a poor defender n not cheap) when it is clear that another quality striker was needed instead...also why buy an injured midfield player for a position required to be filled at the start of the season?...
it is a fact that Gerrad wld hv been the simple yet effective option of being played in midfield to cover Alonso's departure until Acquilani is fit...but no Benitez stubbornly sticks to fielding the limited Lucas who lacks even an ounce of creativity...
it is a fact that Benitez's handling of Babel has been awful...this a player he paid 11m pounds for...when not being played out of position, Babel is benched while his confidence is drained away, Lucas on the other hand has played in every one of the Reds' six defeats...in fact Benitez appeared to do the samething to Cisse when he was wif the Reds...
it is a fact that Benitez has had 5 seasons, regardless of the issues wif the Moore, Parry n the yanks...and the Reds look no where close to landing the EPL...heck they now even appear to be in danger of not securing a CL spot which shall spell even more doom n gloom in more ways than one...last season was probably Liverpool's best chance in along while to land the EPL n i blame Benitez's cautious scared to lose tactics in the first half of that season for the Reds failure to go all the way...the moment the Reds were allowed to play attacking football things changed...
sorry but Benitez appears to also be a structural/systemic problem apart fm the yanks...so both hv to go...the Reds need an entire new make up overhaul...both owner and manager...however i also think Benitez sld be allowed to stay on until at least the next transfer window for continuity and stability reasons...

again u r misconceived Bro...my analogy on PAP goes like this...the PAP govt at times appear to strike at its critics who provide constructive criticism agst its policies disingenuously labelling them as anti-Singapore...which is very far fm the truth as they appear to be sincere n genuine critics who r loyal to Singapore just critical of the PAP govt...sadly n unfortunately the same disingenuous 'McCarthyism' ploy appears to resonate in here by the En Rafa Confiamos followers agst genuine n sincere Reds fans who r critical of Rafa (wif basis i sld add) n not Liverpool FC...
