Zhongshan West (Xi) Rd (in Changning District) is far from where you stay in Jingan area (Jingan District).
As you're in Jingan area, you can go try Shanghai Hotel HC on Wulumuqi Rd, junction of Huashan rd, 2nd level. Similiar HC kinda joint. But abit more costly.
