BTW how will a waitress manages the cafe?

Assume the overhead per day is 3/4 of your revenue. Wow per month they earning near to 300k THB. The 1 who let go of this cafe must have striked lottery or kong kong let go a monthly income of 300k THB and sell it at 300k THB

SGD 167 at 23.9 rate is low for me. becos my fren school canteen can take in $1500/day. School canteen only can rack in $1500 and this public cafe only SGD 167? not good. I am looking at a good cafe should rack in $500+/-/day in Bangkok area.

4k bht is decent i guess. SGD 167-200 (let say can hit 200) x 30. take 180 x 30 is 5400SGD.

1 more info during my morning call to him. 24000bht rental for the cafe or SGD 1000.

My maths told me after minus other bills and staff salary. my best guess is 1500bht +/- a month. Which sound normal income to me for a Thai.

I think u r a dreamer or love to blow big the figures......initially 40000 now 4000. Suddenly now $1500 per day in school??? 1 month about $30000 Imagine u sell 1 plate of chicken rice for $2.5, u r selling 600 plates per day!!!!! or u selling $1 per cans of drinks, u r selling 1500 cans.

Better do your math right, think of real fact, dun dream if u want to do business.

I would advse ; if he is a good friend to you , to cut his losses and get out NOW. Both of you dont seem to know Thailand well at all and have obviously not done your homework. He's blinded by love coz is lost in his world but you would be the best person to help him. Even if it casues him to fight with you now , he will thank you later in life.

You must be joking...

4K baht/day = 120K baht/mth. As a rough guide, net profit for these type of places is around 20% of turnover. So you are probably looking at around 20K baht/mth profit. I'm not even sure how you get the figure of 1.5K baht/mth profit. And I'm not even sure how you can think that 1.5K baht is the average salary of an office worker in BKK.

Let me get u a clear picture. He told me 40K bht/day and I was puzzle and get an answer from him is actually 4k bht/day. (maybe he heard wrongly)

My fren made $1500SGD/day selling drinks only in school in Singapore. Drinks stall sell hot/cold drinks, fruit juice, tibits, cut fruits. I personally was there once and helped him and his wife to count the day collection from the sale of their drink stall.

I am looking into Bangkok for some biz opportunity. I am considering some advise from some fellows here.
