May the gals from Club Echo (Joo Chiat) didn’t appear? Quite packed and the gals are like hunting their prey.

I see and heard gers usually try to ask for $300 nowaday if they are those keep going hotel with any Tom and dick. I was quoted $300 too. But I rejected and say $200. Not my type anyway . So I just act blur and continue drink

I went to a pub last week & this FR should belong to the Joo Chiat thread, but for brothers who finished reading this post will realize why it belongs here.

AGUN Pub. Joo Chiat.

This pub is the size of a small ground floor shophouse. There are est 30 tables & right in the centre is pool table. I reached there at 7pm & the place was already packed. Perhaps because of the pool table, the tables were placed very very closed together, & customers have to squeeze in between seats to get to a table.

Music wise, it was largely soft madarin songs during Happy Hours & pop music after that at eight. The sound system seems muted. HH for a tower was $75. The crowd seemed to be mostly SME executives & contractors, with some speaking even in viet lingo. Plenty of blue notes passed hands, although i did seem some red notes given.

As for the ladies, AGUN pub had been well known to have some of the prettiest viet ladies pre-covid times & now post covid is still famous for. The ratio of men to ladies was about 7 ladies to 10 men.

I was fortunate to have a table, & before I could sit down, a friendly viet SYT asked for permission to share my table. We had fun just chatting & playing games. By 10pm, I decided to leave, as the pub closes by 12am. My lady did not butterfly much, & as I had fun, I gave her a blue note for her time, which she appreciatively thanked me for.

Originally, my intention was just to chill out, relieve my work stress & simply just drink, listen to music, be alone with my thoughts, but having instead engaged & touching base with another Human, I thought I would just go to my usual chill out haunts as the nite was young - rooftop lounges, but as it was already 10pm, which would be packed by then, I decided to go to U Pub at Geylang which I had not visited for some months.

Nothing much had changed at U Pub. It was still large & spacious, size of 2 single floor shophouses, at 10pm. Only a few tables were occupied. There was a few viet ladies there, including the usual dancers. The sound system is better.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, some of the ladies recognized me, came over, & with a sigh I ordered 2 towers as I knew they were good drinkers & game players. Each tower costs $100 for non-Happy Hours.

We had fun, tamed & with the usual light hugs & kisses between known friends. However by 12am, the place was packed, even though it was not a wkend, but a week nite. Many of the beautiful & friendly ladies from other pubs in Joo Chiat came over. As Joo Chiat pubs are relatively packed by 7pm, spacious Geylang pubs offer customers another chance to meet the ladies later.

They were not shy & I am sure many of the male customers had relatively tamed fun, nothing wild, as the pub was open space.

The ratio between male & female would be 7men to 10 ladies, as I saw a few other syts sitting among themselves & may be because they too were only customers chilling out.

I am not sure what is the rate now if a customer wish to take a lady out for the nite post Covid era. Also, I was offered free for such situations wherever I go, which I never take up as FREE is an EXPENSIVE obligation expected in return. It could mean a mere $1 to even one's life. Nothing is free in this world.

By 2pm, the crowd started leaving & so too me. I ensured I paid all whom had served me with tips before I stepped out alone into the dark & quiet night, relieved of my stress, ready to forget whatever that had happened with that night's outing as it was purely transactional, a fantasy. Nothing is real except for the money paid, that was within my budget for a night's out of recreation...ready to face the challenges of a another day's realities once I wake up....

I guess post Covid era, the acceptable rate is $30 for a lady's time for most pubs in Joo Chiat & Geylang. That's about USD $22, or 520,135 Viet Dong (dollars). The average salary in Vietnam is USD $335/mth. But if they stay here in Singapore, their living expenses will be higher during their vacation here.

For service staff, I would tip them each $10 - $20 & buy their fruits to help them at $10 at most pubs. Every bit from each customer counts, I guess...

At U Pub where the ladies recognized me & treat me as a friend & not as a customer, I usually give a bit more to support & help them for the time spent with me, as they tend not to butterfly often & will stay with me till pub closing.

Some generous customers there & at other pubs are known to give even $200 tips. I am not in that league. I am just a simple brother with simple needs, & will not take advantage of anyone. I follow the golden rule...

Think that the normal rate now 3 reds , not more than that unless you ta bao perhaps ta bao rate shall be between $150 to $200 for ST , correct me if i am wrong for these bro who had ta bao FL out before recently
