I think the prices have gone up because of the hotel prices. Take M Studio for example it can cost $220/night some nights of the week and what with misc expenses you are looking at costs of around $300 per day. It probably a little more if you also factor in the cost of entry into Singapore which is more than just flight.

On some days a LB might get just 1 or 2 customers which screws up the profit over the course of a week meaning not that much money gets sent home which is the whole point.

I am not arguing that some of these girls are worth $300 or $450 for 90 minutes as I think $200 is a fair price for a non rush service.

A few years ago the LBs were staying in much cheaper hotels up in Balestier Road and paying $120 per night max. Various factors have pushed them into more expensive hotels including police action.
