Indeed your industry is booming due to the casino.. My friend who in Singapore who is in the project management position in your industry get many job offer recently and he choose the previous company competitor who offer double the pay.
And they are not only focus SG project but also some in Dubai and some in India or small china project...
Singapore still doing well as a AP HQ for your industry I suppose....

Things seem rosy here. But, recent market crashed has caused a big stir. Those who bought 2-3 apartments last 2years, thinking property industry will boom till 2010, due to opening of casinos, are now suffering. Property drop 10-20% almost overnight. Now, property is cooling down. Sg a, another wave of recession should be in 2010 or 2011, about 12 years 1 circle.

China will face similar problem as Sh index now challenging the 3000pts mark, property might be the next hit. Those who pawn everything to goreng the stocks market will find themselves penniless overnight. Next hit will be the property. On the other hand, strong domestic demand will cool off the impact. Growth in East Asia will continue till end 2009, after which, other parts of the world will start rolling, this is according to the report of my Group CIO. Should be zhun, he started to prepare the Jan market crashed since sept last year. US should be in recession now, just that the garment is holding back and pumping in money, maybe due to election. Another sub-prime report will be out in June, quaterly reports, will not be good news just see how bad it could be only.

It's the recent topic of casual conversations these few days with some colleagues & associates.

Was saying, as long as we continue to be employed at this package beyond this year, just hold back on jumping into the markets, save the bullets now. Maybe end of this year or early next year then jump into the equities & property markets.

We don't know when is the lowest point, but it's better to go in a while after the downturn. We might not catch the rock bottom price, but, at least go in at a significantly lower price. Then enjoy better gains when the economy recovers / boom again few years later!

Last year GST, u remembered? they, ccb, split into 4 installment, this is the 2nd installment. I think $250, last yr was $350, $100 extra for NS. This year got 1 extra, they called it Growth Dividend, but this time, they split into 2 installments also, knn ccb. See the link below

Like to thank brudder The Bund for recommending Three Moon Spa in his thread of 15-12-2007. Although I came across the thread months back I did not have a chance to visit till only this afternoon. I told brudder SGPShanghai69's recommendation and selected the 398 RMB 120 min package. Meimei #5 was assigned to service me. She hailed from Anhui and worked very hard for 140 min - even overran the time.

As brudder The Bund said, brudders should only go there if they want a genuine massage. Not sure about special services -at the end she did not offer and I did not ask.

Indeedn Shanghai is lovely and wonderful, particularly to one who's here on short biz trips and stop-overs.....but honestly bro, when one dwell here and live here...it's a different scenerio......
My main concern now is not only the SGP market, with any job offers but most importantly is my dad who's been unwell frequently back home......just wanna spend more time with my folks whenever I can...

Dear Bros,
I was told that the Big boss of YPH has abt 6 outlets.
The former manager has gone to other outlets.
Manager at 999 is Mr Wang Wenyi (王文义)1339 127 3933

Gao Yuan no longer incharge of 999, now at another place somewhere near to 南方商城.

In Hong Qiao, may be you can go to Wuzhong Road, not far away, there is a HC, Ji Yuan (吉原) near to Hong Song Road.

Please check the last 5-6 pages, there should be some info abt contributed by other bros.

Most likely going up for company retreat during end june- 27-30 June. the whole group including my bosses are all girls and i am the odd (guy)one out. the single thorn out of many many roses. So no Ka khi to cheong , just wanna to find out which part of shanghai has the best action in term of MP, clubbing, pick ups, KTV... are they concentrated at one single place or all over? Any big bros that station in SH?

also is there normal KTV there... maybe bring my lots of gal to sing and party.
