#8 The Family Confidant

‘can you be honest with something?’

they were already one cup of wine down… after he shared what had happened with his own wife….

‘yes?’

‘was he really that good in bed?’

oh… why must he ask this??

‘i don’t remember….. i drank the whole glass of alcohol he gave after the threatened me…’

‘oh… but any sore feeling after that?’

‘erm…… i guess…… why you keep asking?’

‘cos my wife….. she erm….. got addicted to that old man…. the sex… she told to my face….. she loved it with him….’

‘huh… why was she so mean??’

‘cos i confronted him.. and he told me she was the one who kept on looking for him even after the wedding… i thought he was lying and trying to throw me off… when i reached home. he had already called up that woman and scolded her… so she admitted to me…’

kept looking for him…… oh…… ok……. hmmmm…. erm… why am I feeling so relieved now?

“she even started to scold me! like she was afraid that I had ruined her relationship with the OLD MAN! it was so fucked up right???”

he looked so worked up! he can’t be lying about it.. his emotions were so genuine! could see hatred! some heart ache still residual!

i put a hand on his shoulder. he looked back at me, wanted to give me a brave look…

‘was he really that good in bed?’ he asked again…..

took a long pause…

‘no … not really…. ‘ i found that difficult to say…. ‘ it was over quickly…’ i lied….. i think he knew….

‘are you sure?? you don’t have to deny it you know… i don’t want you to go look for him also…’

‘what do you mean by that?’

‘my wife became a slave to him… misses his hardcore fucking…. ‘

‘oh…’

he looked at me… with genuine concern in his eyes….. then fed me more wine…

he went on and on… to describe what his wife told him…. about how good the sex was….

i felt my heartbeat increase…. i could feel my breathing affected too…

“can you just tell me the truth?” he pleaded.. his face was flushed…

i regretted it as soon as the words left my lips.. he looked so sad!!

“i’m sorry… i shouldn’t have said that… i don’t know her afterall…”

“no, you are right… she only married me for the money… otherwise why would she so easily turn into his sex slave?”

“actually……. he’s really really good at the love making…..”

he looked shocked….
