Sharing my info on some budget accommodation:
Aircon guesthouse: Thai House Inn

Room rate: 700 baht per night per room. Air-con, hot shower. No b/f. No tv.
Location: Damn near Nana Ah Go Gos. It's just in front of the Amari Boulevard hotel. Can be a bit hard to find, but if u follow the map on the webpg, shld have no probs.

Plus pts:
1. No extra charge to bring your WL up to your room!
2. Very central location to cheong Nana or Cowboy. Walking distance to both.
3. Free internet at the lobby. Only got 1 pc though. So u may have to wait your turn.
4. Cheap laundry! 20B for T-shirt.
5. Can reserve room just by emailing them. No need credit card.

Minus pts:
1. Being so centrally located, u know u just have to chiong every night! I got a room facing the Amari, and always can feel the bass from the speakers outside somewhere. Not so good for a nice rest.
2. Room has a little stale smell at 1st, but your brain filters it off after 10s.
3. Rooms are quite old, and I saw 1 cockroach baby on my 1st night. :P
4. No privacy. The day manager with the "dirty old man look" openly asked how much was the WL I had the next morning. Even joked about the 2 condoms I used! Saying: "last night u enjoy? 2 condoms!" Crikey! He didn't even clean the room! The cleaner must've told him. Well, maybe can ask him where to find 500B ST WLs (that's what he claimed)

Any1 with good budget recommendations pls do share too!

The behaviour in the bars at OT is quite tame compared to BKK. At Crazy Horse and others in OT they are out to sell but are relatively discrete about action in the bar. In BKK (nana and Soi Cowboy) yoy can sample the wares quite a bit before you buy - this can range from all kinds of mutual fondling to more if you want.

I am consider a newbie here. I just been to Chiangmai and then to Bangkok last wk... Tried out some places that I have known and heard abt from sbf(thanks to bros who shared with all bros generously). After been to this trip, I also want to contribute on my part and share with bros here...

To make it short and sweet. I went to Victoria secret, Poisedon, Hollywood, Zaleng(thai-students disco), some low-end MP,PatBong-agogo bar etc...

In Victoria secret, I tried the foam massage which cost me 2500 Baht,only for 1.5hr(for girls who do without foam massage is 2hr). This is the first time I tried... really a new experience to me. Chosen a girl, 25yr old and not bad looking~ ard 6/10. Sorry but I dont remember her name coz all thai girls' names are like the same to me .(By the way, foam massage girls are limited, only 2 I saw on that day...). We proceeded to a room with big bath tub and a circular bed. The session consists of 4 parts. First, the girl massaged my legs and body...(the massage was good and relaxing...after a hectic day of travelling). After massaged for 20 min...then she helped me to bath. For those who go for University students… maybe Lovers’ hut is a good choice. My friend told me abt this place. It is somewhere behind the grand hotel but I did not able to make it there even though I wish to.
(I like thaigirls ...I like the way they talk soi demure and gentle.... guess that is why I even make an effort to learn thai language and tour in thailand even though I have a busy schedule.)

Bros planning a trip, am just a beginner like yourself but I admire your spirit to travel alone for quenching of thirst. You may wan to stay around Sukhumvit next time when you are easily connected to by BTS Skytrain. Virtually most places like Patong, MBK or even the weekend market Chatuchak is easily reached by BTS. If need to go famous MP like Nataree, Emanuelle and Caesar, can change to MTR or MRT train at Sukhumvit BTS Station and alight at Hwey Kuan Station. For Poseidon, alight at Suttisan Station.

Hope I remembered the info correctly. If I have any mistakes, the Lao Jiao (Senior) Bros in this forum will correct the info.

Accomodation can try Asiarooms.com (they can quote in S$)

Thanks for dropping this message. Yes indeed as I"ll be in BKK from 7th~12th Dec for pure partying fun. We can certainly catch up for some drinking session in the night where you can sneak away without your wife presence.

To be honest, I"m quite a newbie in BKK and have been reading the threads to keep myself update and abreast with the tantalising night scene in BKK getting to know where to party while enjoying a good time. A few I have reckoned which should be good but wonder whether they still exists?? My preferred hotel is Parazzo in Ratchada.

Reason being is closed to all the joints : bathroom, trad massage, restaurant, pubs, etc. The rate is quite reasonable, about 1.2kB to 1.4kB and is clean and nice.

Daily routine in BKK, wake up about 1400 or 1500 in the afternoon. Watch TV and wash up a bit, go for trad massage at about 1630 or 1700. Came out about 1900, go bathroom and finish off about 2100 and have dinner. Go disco about 2230 till 0200. Friend will bring to underground type to carry on to drink till about 0500 or 0600. Lasted close to 2 weeks on this routine, with some changes for shopping.

Nightlife we started with Forte last time when is at Sukhumvit Soi 24. Now is at RCA side. Guess the more popular one now is Caribean. Not sure Orbit still around. These are all the bar top dancing with live band.

Have been to local pubs where there is no foreigner, including Chinese. I think the local pubs with live band is where you can enjoy and appreciate Thai culture and of course the ladies. Local pubs are the place where 'working' ladies go after work. Typically you can find karaoke gals, massage gals, bathroom gals, some rich man daughters, etc here. Of course there are glas that bring along Ang Mo. The easier one if you want to experiences is along Ratchada, Dance Fever and Hollywood. My preference is DF. There is one more behind Ratchada, Glass Home. You will more likely meet a lot of gals in these pubs as generally thai gals like to party more than guys. Is normal to see one guy or two with more than 5 gals. In these pubs or disco, you will get the chance to know them and maybe get lucky. My friend and I were invited once by 3 guys and four gals (all younger than us) to their house to drink after the disco closed at 0200. We carry on to drink (of course as foreigner, we pay for all the drink bought from 7-11 and food ordered from dun know where) till about 0500 where all the ppl start to go, leaving us with the gal (house owner) who seem drunk. We have threesome and trust me, the gal is not drunk at all. Set back is I have to see my friend naked body while we tag team against her.

For some who are there for biz, you will not have time for this. But if you 'biz' there frequently, then no harm trying. Thai glas are very very friendly. Most of them have been sheated by men and look out for those mad mad type who have scar on the wirst.

If you really dun have time, I suggest to book trad massage gal out to drink and F later in the hotel. Typically I booked them from about 2300 till 0300, 4 hours = 800B. I typically give them next morning about 1.7k to 2k. These are better than bathroom gals as they do not have the chance everyday to F, hence spare part better.

Anyway, have not been to BKK for a while. Targetting CHu Hai and Hai Nan Tao in CN. If you have the chance, go for water festival. You willl enjoy a difference experience when you go to the pubs for three days. will share later.

I once did book from another one next to Song Boon restaurant that look very old from outside, but do have some pretty and young one.
Subway not so good as most of them dun massage, just want HJ and FJ...
