Ok bros, as it goes... tis really makes me feel young again.. long time dun hav tis kinda feeling liao.
As we stroll down the street, taking in the sights of the night dwellers, we were doing some catching up.. We chatted n soon found ourselve at Marina South.. Wow! how time flies when u r too engrossed.. (we walked from Orchard!) The walk really sober me up. A bit tired, I asked dat we sit down n rest a while. Dat time no 'durian' or esplanade so not much site 2 look at. Can see there were some teenagers sitting around in groups as well. We walked further south n went in2 the park. Found a place 2 sit down n chit chat. Around us, we could see couples around oso, hugging n chatting the nite away. Under the moonlit sky, she looked at me wif her smallish eyes, so adorable.. She has really outgrew her teens liao. Though jus a few mths din see her, she has transformed in2 a well-groomed lady. There this aura bot her dat I find myself hard 2 resist. She looks more like an office girl than an undergrad. I find myself staring at her face n examining every minute detail of her features. Ah, her eyebrows, nicely trimmed, no longer thick and sprouting in all directions. Her eyes, enhanced wif make up, looked bigger than its original size. Her eyelashes were alaways long n wif a dash of mascara, looked really seductive. Why seductive leh? U may ask. Cos it's as if those lashes have their own life n is talking 2 me with every blink. Ah.... her complexion, much better (facial?). Her physique has always been her best feature, i've always think so. Being a sporty ger who's active in outdoor activities, her body is well-toned n there is this 'bounciness' bot the way she carry herself. So full of life. As opposed to those very lady-like' gers whom guys feel so obligated to protect (jus like my ex, her fren lo). Her arms n shoulders have nice definition, toned from physical activities. THose feature been always hidden away in her sloopy dressing, 2nite, she revealed her desire 2 make herself desirable 2 men. Her top were, by those days' n her standards 'revealing' hor n the jeans-boots combination, wa seh, gaf her a 'rebel' look. Coupled wif the short funky hairdo. Well, can pass her off as some rock chick jus coming out of a rock concert.. Finally, I couldn't hold back anymore. I have to...................................... asked her if she has gone for a makeover? (Hahaha.. what were u thinking?)Yes, she went wif her frens so they can graduate wif style. 'I like it' I said matter-of-fact, not patronising her or sianning her or anything, jus sincere comment cos I really liked the 'look'. Up till then, I've always had gfs who have long hair, big eyes, soft-spoken (not dat she is loud, still dislike 'loud' gers), a 'small-woman' demeanor, very lady-like type of gers whose beauty is 'el-natural' (Guessed influenced by those 70's Taiwanese sob love stories so popular then) J's makeover success changed that narrow-minded perception of mine. May b cos of my traumatic experience? May b I've outgrown my boyish fantasy? I unexpectibly find myself attracted to the transformed J.(I din realise then). Like a butterfly, she has outgrown her cocoon n transformed frm a caterpillar in2 the beautiful matured form. (By any standards, she is considered not bad, had i been more mature like in my late 20s or now, I'll find her attractive. Jus dat at dat time, being still kinda boyish, I have different sets of standards, jus din see myself having a gf like her. Treat her like fren oni.)
