Excellent suggestion! I don't want to work, I want to play and enjoy life! I don't want to work until I'm 62 years old and retire, to me that's too old! Also, I can't retire in Hawaii, cost of living is too high to retire, if you want to live in Hawaii, you must work till you're 62 or 65 years old. But, retiring in Thailand provide a decent living with less money!

Thailand is centally located so I can visit other Asian countries with less money! I will visit China, Vietnam, Singapore, Phillippine, Hong Kong, Macau and Indonesia. But not Cambodia, I'm not a sexual pervert!

I would have to look into several revenue streams when retiring there. One is via rent from my condos but provided its all paid up by then and Two is to get a small business running... my ideal would be a beach bar (no go-gos types or where puyings sit with customer) where its all paid up (no mortgage) so I can close to go fishing with Bros like u when I feel like it. Ahhh.... sweet dreams are made of these

Ideally of course if I can find a sweet Thai puying to settle down with. I dun mind people's past so long as we are honest about it and don't repeat the follies of our youth in the future. I'm no saint so who am I to be the moral police?

Wow, looks like there are so many opportunities other than this Sinkapore/Sinkieland.

Really starting to get into my nerves, unfortunately/fortunately, I don't see myself qualify for Down Under. Looks like I have to work my way towards the North, ie Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China to spend the remaining (tail end)years of my life.

I will keep reading this forum to motivate myself out of this shitlee hole.....

I just saw Gary Player still playing golf at 73. I want to do the same, and probably this will be the most expensive habit that I have. But there are also decently priced golf courses.

Work a little to get some money to tip the caddies more.....

=> Aloha BRO,i managed to play few 3 holes with Gary Player a few years ago in a golf event !...He's really a very nice & true gentlemen !...Even though he's 73..he's a fitness crazy...and at the dinner...he wanted to demostrate how sit ups he can perform a day...probably some of us will have problems these days with our belly !

My earlier post in your thread ( not sure U read...guz not too interesting for U ! )...Juz luv golfing in Thailand !!!...

WOW, you're a golfer! You're a lucky guy, golf is one of the best sport to play in Thailand, it's cheap and able to meet lots of male and female friends. Lots of my friends in Thailand plays golf, I wish I could play. I had 3 shoulder surgeries so I don't have a full range of motion so golf is out!

Hey man, you're never too old to workout in the gym. I'm old, ugly and fat but still able to workout in the gym for 2.5 hours a day. If you need help, look me up at the California WOW, Espanade! I'll be there working out 6 days a week next march, 2010. My goal is to workout, spend 2 hours of spa and 2 hours of traditional Thai massage. You can be my gym partner!
