Seems like u r a LaoJiao in GuangDong, so would like to seek yr kind assistance. There is a possibilities that I may be posted to PanYu of Guangzhou, I surf on the net to see where exactly this place in Guangzhou but can't seems to find it. Can u help by letting me know more abt this place like its location, distance from the Guangzhou city area, etc, etc? The place I may be going is an industrial estate, so dun expect it to be near the city but would like to know how good/ulu it is. I was ever stationed in beijing in the 90s, but the southern part i really blur. BTW, I know that Dongguang n Guangdong r diff place, but r they next to each other? hahahaha, pls dun laugh at my ignorance, guess juz blur lah.  So Bro, any info on this Panyu would be most appreciated, n hope to see yr reply soon. Tks! Quote:

Hi,
just to let yo know more about Panyu..... Panyu is southeast of Guangzhou nearer the pearl river delta... If you can imagine, Guangzhou is northwest of Hong Kong and PanYu is just below Guangzhou... It is convenient as you can take the ferry to and from Hong Kong easily... there is also duirect ferry from the HK airport. you had aslso asked if Dongguan is the same as guangdong... I think you got it mixed up... Firstly, China is made up of many provinces省 and Guangdong is one of them. Within each province, you have municipality 市 ... in Guangdong province, guangzhou town is the provincial capital (main town in the province) while Panyu is another municipality... Dongguan is also a municipality in Guangdong province... Within each municipality, there can be many smaller towns 镇, CP is one of the many towns within Dongguan. Panyu is quiter a nice place... the air pollution is not as bad as in other parts of Guangdong.... I also visit Panyu regularly as I have to help my boss take care of 3 factories there....

, hope bro Tripping dun mind.Me juz went for the final round of interview for the job mentioned today, but personally, dunno what the fuck happen to me today, din't perform well during the session. So my own assessment is that I might not get the position, the confident level now was so drastically lower compared to when i juz had my previous round of interview 2 days ago. Still, tks again to both of u for yr kind assistance, hopfully me still have a chance to land in a position that post me to china, and maybe 1 day got a chance to meet up wif u guys. Quote:
