I'm sure soon enough you'll get accustomed to Shanghai's slightly high expense as compared to other cities or provinces in China once you've stayed long enough to get the hang of it all!

I am pretty shocked too by the cost of HC at other cities (i.e. Nanchang, Nanjing) as compared to Shanghai here. Indeed it's very much higher here but there again, the quality they provide eventually is also alot better as compared to the lower ends HCs.

Just bear an objective mindset and I'm sure soon you'll be accustomed to life here in Shanghai be it for pleasure or for work wise! Have fun & stay well...

nice meeting u & other brudders last Sat nite too. After the party, I can re-rate tat club, I banned it 3 - 4 years ago when I last went there. The music back then juz gave me headache, I think I can't follow up wif the the trend. Music is much better now!

Me had to leave early too, not feeling quite well cos too much parties everyday those few days, immediately after my gruelling work. Last Sat nite, I think I still had the after-effects of the heavy bachelors' nite on Fri. Furthermore, I oso had a "light" happy-hour session at Tong Ren Lu wif a few colleagues, b4 adjourning 2 our party! And wif the farewell parties on several days last week, I practically peng san when I reached home after our party!

No lah, I din contribute much good info here, they look more like complaints & warnings only. Many other brudders posted good info on HCs & KTVs, while my postings are mainly some info on BBS only, hahaha. Totally different class! Furthermore, I seem to "encourage" partying outside of Shanghai, hahaha.
