Only on SZ hoh..... Those one pcs Map are okay...but for tourist who need a general guide particularly around the "Central" area. Next step is to buy a One pcs map of for the local area itself...like wat bro APSX said.... DG has more than 26 towns....CP is only one of them....so it's a small fly in the Canton province. DG city is the provincial capital of DG thus may be featured the map of Canton...

Guanggong Sexcapades: Zhengcheng to Nan Kun Shan
Quote:
Found a good map of Zengcheng, great. It took me a long time to find a detailed map of Zengcheng. The map is in Chinese but I CAN'T find anything that sounds similar to Nan Kun Shan. There is only one town that is close to Zhencheng. It located northwest of Zengcheng in Conghua. I also tried looking in Huizhou, nothing. Anyway, WHAT DIRECTION, is Nan Kun Shan from Zhencheng and about how long does it take for a bus. Is it NORTH, SOUTH, or EAST of Zhencheng. I’m seriously thinking about going to this place and don’t want to go on a long wild goose chase. I promise to post a report when I return home. For the maps, sorry you might have create a login with a password. Then to load the maps will take a long time. This place also have other maps for China like for Dongguan and Shenzhen. Map I found of Zhengcheng http://www.lvy.cn/viewMap.asp?mapid=868 Map of Conghua which is north to Zhengcheng http://www.lvy.cn/viewMap.asp?mapid=867 Map of Huizhou which is east of Zhengcheng http://www.lvy.cn/viewMap.asp?mapid=4482 If anyone see Nan Kun Shan on these maps let me know. Sinoview thanks for the help for asking for more information on this place. Again Thanks for the help.... Tomkat |

Re: POST-SARS : Guangdong Sexcapades
Ok good if u have already found out the town of ZhengCheng. - thats the place; and can forget abt other towns already. From there at the town's bus terminus (where the buses also leave from guangzhou and major towns) n as far as i know there is only one air-con mini-bus (20 seater) that only goes up to the town of nankunshang 3 times a day only and that seems to be the ONLY public transport.(or u can take a taxi there but its gonna costs u rmb 150 and many taxi drivers may even not know the place except the road leading up to NKS). It will take about an hr n 40 mins and the dep time from the station is at 9am and 11am and one in late afternoon (cant remember the time).
Its easy as u just get on the bus pay abt rmb20 and the final stop will be the town - altho on the way up the bus will stop along the road when there's pax alighting or getting on. Once there - u make yr way to nankun hotel - which is a fairly big n decent one and shd costs u no more than rmb 120 a nite on weekdays - just ask for the friendly manager who can guide u or give u advise. Its a small town all within walking distance and only abt 3 roads/lanes. Better to stay 2 nites and also get to enjoythe hot springs there. Girls there costs abt rmb 300 to 400 - but u hopefully make the right choice - its better to select a gal then take her back to yr room and see how it is - if she is not satisfactory, then pay her rmb 150 and let her go (within 2 hrs from yr selection). But remember that the gals here are not professional as other towns/cities FLs; so essentially u have to be the initiator and treat them well and they reciprocrate and treat u almost like gfe. |

Re: POST-SARS : Guangdong Sexcapades
hi Tomkat, fellow bro "betweenus21" is correct - but am not sure if u can read Chinese, as if not u may find some difficulty in asking for directions etc - and also whether u are travelling alone, as it would be better if u have someone along as it is in a remote place and which is very local. A outsider would stick out like a sore thumb and as always in China, it is better to be on guard and alert and esp so in keeping yr wallet safely. Two persons is better as one can always watch out for the other at least. And as a foreigner and esp if u are alone, the locals everywhere i believe, will always try to take advantage of increased prices etc and in a remote town up in the mountains like nankunshang, one has to watch out and use the pricing as a guide; but refrain from making any scene and be more diplomatic n humble when declining. of course there's always better in strength and more security in a bigger group of say in 4s. Good luck and all the best and look forward to yr FR if u do go up for a visit.

You can see what maps they have, but you need to create a login and passwd to download the maps, sorry. Some of the names are in English but the maps themself are in Chinese. http://www.lvy.cn/sct/emap_Guangdong.asp http://www.lvy.cn/eMapIdx.asp China Map Center£ºBy Province [Order by english name] Anhui Map Beijing Map Chongqing Map Fujian Map Gansu Map Guangdong Map Guangxi Map Guizhou Map Hainan Map Hebei Map Heilongjiang Map Henan Map Hongkong Map Hubei Map Hunan Map Jiangsu Map Jiangxi Map Jilin Map Liaoning Map Macao Map Neimenggu Map Ningxia Map Qinghai Map Shandong Map Shanghai Map Shanx Map Shanxi Map Sichuan Map Taiwan Map Tianjin Map Xinjiang Map Xizang Map Yunnan Map Zhejiang Map |

How To?
Friends:
I am new to GuangZhou. Never been here before. Your post are so informative and helpful. It feels like I have already been there. Thanks. I have an International flight out of GuangZhou's New Baiyun International Airport departing at 8 AM. If I was staying at Garden hotel or near the railway station what sort of transportation is available to the airport (besids taxi ) Are there any Airport Buses, minibuses or anyother cheaper way to make it to the airport that early in the morning? Thanks again. |

Re: POST-SARS : Guangdong Sexcapades
if you are staying at Garden hotel - just cross over via the overhead bridge tot he opposite side; walk up abit to where McDonald's is and you will see a "green" tent-like place where it is the waiting point for the Baiyun Airport express Bus. The frequency iis every 20 mins and the fare is just rmb17. Its the most convenient n direct way besides being the cheapest as by taxi from garden would costs you rmb110. And there will be some rogue taxi drivers at the stand offering people rmb20 (at least 2 pax) - but it is not advisable as they will stop n pick up people along the way or worse overcharge you during the journey.
Am not sure if the airport bus other services runs from any hotels from the railway station. Whilst Garden hotel may be a good 5-star hotel, its expensive by far and is not girl-friendly; would suggest you stay at another 5-star hotel just further up which is the Asia International hotel or a smaller budget hotel like Cathay which is also just up from garden hotel too. (opposite direction of asia hotel). |

Re: POST-SARS : Guangdong Sexcapades
yup those foot massage or body massage n foot massage places like those open concept ones in hotels or by itself, of course do have some sweet n young girls out of the many as usually each centre would have between 20 to 40 girls. But i do stress that these are the open concept ones even for massage and have no individual rooms. There's no extras or hanky-panky, but u can always make conversations with them and ask them out for a drink etc - but dont think can score on 1st date as these girls generally take some time.

GZ-CP transportation
Looking for a little help. I'll be in GZ for the Canton Fair and want to visit DG(Changping) saunas. I'm traveling with business partners, so I need to leave around 10PM and come back around 4AM. Would I have to take a taxi, because the train stops after 8PM, I think. Is this advisable?
