Viet goods are always quite limited in Singapore. Even at those places where viet goods are sold, their prices are so much more expensive relative to Vietnam. Other point being Vietnamese travel between Singapore and Vietnam often, thus they will rather buy in Vietnam and bring back to Singapore, saving on the premium charge by importers.
