I adopt one from Bt Merah Thai temple.
very old made..from my gauge
not sure which monk commission it.
hope some expert and helpful guys can advises.

I need advice on Temple hopping in BKK. May I know what is the best way to get around the temple in BKK. Also the best timing to go too.

U can book a taxi about 2000thb for whole day and tell him the temples u want to go.... Do it during weekend, less traffic but if u want weekday then avoid peak hours.

Thank you bro naemlo. But I heard there are some driver will tell you that the WAT is not open and they will drive you to some jewerlly shop.

Is there a way to take buses? as in public transport? Thank you

Temples won't close unless in the evening..... just tell driver to go to the temple. Bus?? I am not so adventurous.... u can check with those who loves to travel around by bus.

any kind souls can explain why do archan or monks rub pure gold leaf on your forehead(temple area) when you go for blessing?
if we rub gold leaf on our own forehead..it is also lucky?

want to know more about khun pean
most khun pean i saw have both legs seated crossed,1 hand on the stomach,one hand on the leg.
however i saw one unusual khun pean with one leg down,both hand on the stomach,it has 2 guman thong kneel to him.

why some khun pean have a rooster inside?
