Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
when Ronaldo scored in the 23rd minutes through a penalty,my heart sank.
whenever he scored at Old Trafford, the Devils will not lose the match. but records and history is always there to be broken. so when Torres equalised,i sense a bit of hope but still do not such a performance and scoreline. well done Reds...

damn what a performance!
besides Reina and Riera, i thought the team were outstanding and abit of a blessing that Alonso was injured cos i felt Lucas did a very good job helping Aurelio out whenever Ronaldo got the ball, he did excellent to close down the Manure players. Well Done Reds!!! YNWA!!! |

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
funny game football is. good victory it was against the shit. but was it unexpected??? maybe the scoreline was unexpected but the victory was expected. was kinda disappointed some of the diehard fans here actually were putting money on a draw before the game.
but alas, IMHO, liverpool didnt have to play very well in the game. well, except for torres. his 1st goal to me was the turning point. against the run of play, he totally humiliated the leading candidate for player of the year, making him look like he should have been playing for derby instead. there goes the carefully built-up hype about vidic. oh and his partner fuck-i-nun was all at sea as well. so much for the best defensive partnership in the premier league. oh, and i remember that the papers were raving about how anderson is the one to negate the gerrard effect. bollocks!!! he and carrick were made to look like schoolboys. both of them had no contribution to the game whatsoever. if they was any, it was carrick who kept the game interesting by mispassing the ball all the time. i cant really remember anderson having a touch of the ball at all. nice to see that the referee had no choice but to award the penalty to liverpool cos the trip was bloody obvious, too obvious for the men in black to kelong. and from then on, pool were playing at cruise control. it has been a long time (probably since the 80s) since i have seen liverpool play at such a relaxed pace and yet run out easy winners. that, to me, is the biggest improvement from the last few seasons. so, must give credit to liverpool cos the honourless knight said that the better team lost. damn, he must be spending too much time in bed with "moan"rinho... is he senile or is he delusional??? roman calderon proved that he is senile, but i seriously think he is delusional... aurelio to me, is a good candidate for man of the match. not only did he score a fantastic freekick (1 freekick, 1 goal), he turned the "best, second best and third best" player in the world into a pedestrian. he had no pace to match christina, but together with lucas (god, he was effective), the diver had no contribution to the game, except for wasting freekicks in dangerous positions. all in all, i think the credit should also go to rafa benitez. for making sure that mascherano and lucas help out on the flanks and thus rendering manure totally devoid of ideas. also for making sure liverpool kept their shape throughout the match, even when manure was down to 10 men... now, that is discipline. by the way, have u guys read the new paper??? god, they r so biased!!! there were so many clowns in the manure side and they choose to insult mascherano!!! and they had the cheek to take a potshot at gerrard's miss. but the saving grace was that when i visited the IT show yesterday, i did not see a single manure jersey. such r their fans. my sympathy goes out to those who supported manure from the 70s and 80s. oh, and who was that indian guy wearing the crown paints jersey on tv??? i loved it when he kept emphasising the word "humiliating" time and again after the final whistle!!! oh, great salt they were!!! finally, damn me if u would, but i m going to gloat that i said (in this thread) that dossena would make a decent left winger or midfielder. 2 goals in less than 15 mins of playing time. against real madrid and a mediocre manure. oh yes, i m gonna gloat cos i m one of the very few to put my head out and said (in this thread again) that i expect liverpool to win... oh yes, i m rambling. but pls do indulge me, cos i m seldom this right!!! cheers. Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I am always a RED but I guess not such a big fan of Rafael that all...it was sweet victory for the team after seasons of being taunted by those scums fans..but honestly it is a mountain that needs to be overcome at this stage and that again it has to depend on the efforts of others and not the team themselves...
