I think it's more than the customary Kopi money at play. They've been open for at least 10 years and the other branch is still open, I'm sure they have been paying Kopin$ over all these years to keep operations.

Something bigger is happening, either an increase in bribes refused to pay, another branch of govt/polis wants a cut, or just a political statement they want Bule out of the Vice and sex trade here. The fact they made this public instead of private suggest latter. Balinese are not like Javanese and while they also want money, they perhaps more morals and less tolerance to debauchery.Be careful
