Me: ??

Ling: about your phone screen....

Me: ya what about it?

Ling: Shall we go fix it after lunch?

Me: oh ya about the phone.. It was actually cracked before you bumped into me and dropped it heh.

Ling: ?!! then why did you say i broke it??

Me: I didn't. You apologized profusely and how was i to reject such a pretty girl like you?

Ling: oei... scare me you know, thought i had to spend few hundred dollars just to fix your phone.

Me: you want fix for me also can la!

Ling: ok can.

Me: hahaha.

Ling pouted and crossed her arms

Me: eh you angry ah.

Ling: ya. hmph.

Me: but if i didn't do that you wouldn't have had a free meal and satisfy your craving and had lunch with such a handsome young gentleman

Ling: ya la ya la thank you la >.>

Me: :P

We finished up our meal and left the restaurant, didn't see shawn along the way so just dropped him a thank you text.

We walked by a dessert shop and ling tugged my arms.

I looked at her, she looked at me, then she removed her hand.

Ling: sorry. wanted to ask you if you wanted dessert.

Me: you want just say la don't ask me. see you so happy when you see the shop just now.

Ling: heh.

We went into the dessert shop and sat down.

A waiter approached us...

Waiter: Hello! Welcome to _______, today we have our special couple dessert, $10 for a large bowl of bingsu with 2 complimentary mocktail. All you have to do is take a photo together an do a few poses with it and post it on instagram!

Me: but we're ....

Ling: okay! we'll have the chocolate bingsu and 2 mocktail of the day

Me: -looked over to ling-

Ling: what?? discount dont want take ah

Me: ok lor thought you want progress so fast already hmm...

Ling: oei dont anyhow

Me: heh joke only right.

Our dessert arrived and the waiter came over with a few cards....

Waiter: Okay ! So lets get started, please choose a card at random and this will determine the pose you are going to do!

Ling: okay, let me pick let me!!

Me: pick la nobody fighting with you ling

ling picked out a card with excitement ..

she looked at the card and she turned to me shyly.

Me: what is it ?

I took the card over and it was a picture of a couple feeding themselves while crossing their hands. It was sort of those wedding photos were couples toast each other.

my heart started to beat, one beat faster at a time. our face would be close to each other. It was my lucky day i thought to myself. hehe

Ling: erm...

Me: Okay lets do it.

I scooped up the bingsu and passed her a spoon and did so for myself, she looked at me with her glistening eyes and we crossed our arms, inching closer to each other for the pose.. i could see a small smile forming on her face when we were posing. That made me think. Maybe she likes it, maybe she likes me, maybe i have a chance..
