Unless you are thinking of currency conversion to SG. Then even 30K baht a month not enough for your family.

Since u work in govt, u should have quite a bit of CPF.
Once u reach 35, u can just buy a HDB flat from HDB. U are not allowed to sublet whole flat without permission from HDB. But if you are going to stay in Thailand long term, then u can authorise the Power Attorney to submit your application of subletting your whole HDB flat even though u have not occupied for min 5 yrs. This one also one way to get some "CPF money to be released" and u get to spend them on rentals or whatsoever u want to do in Thailand.

I can live like the thai not a problem but u forgeting ur parents in singapore. they are old n not working who gonna take care of them. medical bils are not cheap in singapore.

buying a hdb for me is not a problem i dont even need to get a loan if i buy a 4 room flat. i have even plan for that already to rent it out
