buying time, is wat i am doing too, changing company is the 1st step, hoping i could make some, so i can pia for the next 2-3 months so to start all over again...., hoping this is tha last time, cos i cannot afford to have another setback again, although is a small one, i simply cant afford any.

Tio TOTO? lol, i always tell my friends that i am migrating to china soon, cos toto will sponsor all my expenses to there....lol, well, i doing reverse psychology. hoping everything will turn out well. Cant always say will fail, right?

Well, game whether is over is all depend on this last time, hope everything can turn out good, so I can go for a short trip in the next few months, to relax and also to restart.

You have a family?? if your wife stick by you, then is good. Lucky, i have a supportive wife. But we all from humble background, so i cant always depend on her.

Well, next week, is a whole new begining for me. I just keeping my finger cross, cos I cant tahan another setback. Sianz.....

If u have read my earlier post (in chinese), u will know that I boh wife boh gf, n tk goodness, if I have a wife, my guess is the family unit sure pik-jar long ago, cos not every1 is so lucky to have a supportive wife like yrs. Good for u.

I think it is very impt that we know our own situation and work within our limitation. For this I think bro Shanghaitan shares the same sentiment with me. I am not saying that we can take risk, but not too many at a time.

For me, I know I can only afford a packet of milk, I will not invest on a cow. Unlike some bros having herb, well good for them as they can afford and manage. Right bro Shanghaitan?

Another small setback today, a painful one, my plans got to postphone till Dec again, once again, maybe later, cos no money to make for the next 2-3months, due to some fucking red tapes, by the sillypore govt.

You're right to say that we should always work within our limits. Risks are to be taken.. but not recklessly.. the more successful brothers here take risks on a daily basis.. but these are all calculated risks.. after weighing the consequences should they fail.. they're not likely to spread themselves too thin should setbacks occur (which they will.. just a matter of time.. ).

Don't worry Bro Niceman and Bro tionggoklan, I, for one will not be eyeing the TOTO prize because I don't buy such things... so.. one less "competitor"!! Hahaha..

Everyone has their own story to tell.. be in good (FRs) or bad (Badluck etc) and Every other person will have some advice to give (Correct or not is besides the point...). All these should be taken in good faith because unless every single detail of whatever stroy is written down accurately.. there is no way any advices recieved is to right on the Money!

Kudos to bros who offer kind words and solace to bros here who appear to be in "dire straights" and although what you and I have said might not have catered fully to the needs of some of the bros, in my personal opinion, it's your thoughts that count.. at least to take the time and effort to read and post your views and comforting words in your attempts to help ease the "pains" which can be found everywhere.. at any given point in time.. happening to anyone.. Take the New Orleans Tragedy for example.. who would have expected the typoon to wreck the entire city? Bad luck perhaps? I remember my ex-boss used to criticise me for saying 'No Choice'. He said, in life, there is no such thing as no choice, every issue has at least two perspectives. When we say no choice, its either due to not knowing what are the two perspectives, or simply choose to dwell on the negative perspective. Since we are here, with the physical presence of our loved ones or alone, from time to time will still need the support of the fellow male comrades, hence, keep an eye on your fellow buddies, lend a hand to those in need of help, on condition that you can afford this help.

Well put and well said. There is always "choice' . What we need sometimes is a bit of "luck"( as mentioned by bro TKL and Niceman) in choosing the right ones. When faced with a choice, who knows which is the correct one... only god knows. Once we choose , we are bound to its consequences be it good or bad. From here on we are faced with choices after choices and the premutations and combinations are infinite, who knows the correct choice? Hind sight is always 20/20 but who has 20/20 fore sight? No one. To get one right is easy but to string them one after another is really really tough.If you fall into a "bad" patch like Bro TKL and Niceman then all seems so unfair and hopeless. But hope is always there.( be it toto or big sweep...i also never buy so no hope and more hope for the 2 bros.. share 50/50)
I cannot offer Bro TKL and Niceman any advice as I do not know what choices lay before them or what is the right choice to make. Easy to say move forward , sometimes we need to move backwards to move forward, then how do we choose?
My only word of advise is not to give up and life is precious so don't give up so easily ( not saying that u give up easily) as you only have 1 life that some people want also cannot get.
Cheer up and like Bro JC says, we look out for our buddies and help to our best ability and not beyond.

Indeed, everyone will have a story to tell..those is will be a tall order to expect others to fully comprehend the graveness of the "matters"... for that matter, I would think that even Li Jnr will have his own unique set of "problems", perhaps non-financial related but problems are not confined to just financial right? On the contrary, I've heard people say that 钱可以解决的问题就不是真正的问题.. in which there is some truth in it.. it's just a matter of magnitude of the financial problems.. so more.. so less..

Other problems, sometimes by just venting out and verbalising it can be somewhat dinimished or even eliminated.. oftentimes, people just need to let it out.. get it over with.. and then move right on..

While we cannot offer huge financial assistance most of the time, we at the very least try to lend a ear and offer whatever advice we think may, or then again may not, help... although others may have the perception or misconception that some of the brothers here are making tonnes of money and have a perfect life.. it is not true in most cases.. they just make do and/or make peace with whatever state they're in and try to do the best they can..

Many of us are out here.. alone.. so we take solace in having brothers around.. without bros, we have naught.. and can only "suffer" in silence..

I know that others may strongly disagree with what I've said.. saying that "You are not in my shoes, so don't come and act or think that you'll ever know what I'm going through.. you talk like you very steady.. wait until you kenna what I have kenna.. then I see how you take it.. " And I agree with them.. Fact of the matter is, I'm not in there shoes, and can never be fully in their shoes.. No one can.. So I'm just voicing my opinion.. perhaps I should just state assumptions as well.. sigh.. then maybe I cannot be faulted??

Anyway, glad to see you posting again.. keep posting your views.. I'm sure some bros can relate to them by applying the basic principles and not taking everything wholesale.. finding the hidden, deeper meanings and using/forming to suit personal needs..

The thing about "choice" reminds me of a game book that I use to read donkey years back.. "Fighting Fantasy" series by Steve Jackson if my failing memory serves me right.. You need to read, choose which path to take, what to say to others, what to buy, what to do.. then you'll be instructed to flip to a certain page and carry on.. making choices as you read on.. and put into the context of Life, it's the same.. don't you think? For every action there will be a reaction.. it's a constant string of choices.. no one knows which is right or wrong.. and good or bad.. but still Life goes on.. no one knows what Life or God have in store for us.. I have this strange feeling that maybe even God sometimes chooses not to know.. to HIM, it might just be a game of "fighting fantasy".. wait and see what happens.. more interesting.. hmm.. then again... it's just my personal view of things happening..

As for the moving forward and backwards idea, I think you're right.. if and only if there is a chance to move backwards.. not often will anyone get a chance to do that.. look back and analyse and learn maybe.. actually moving back may not be possible.. but at the end of the day, the forward choices will still have to be made.. right?

Whatever it is, we need to move on.. forge ahead.. and try to "anticipate" what our "risks" will lead us..

Anyway, looking forward for the 3Ss to be reunited..
