Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Torres must have been feeling itchy watching from the stand with his bird.
With the space given by Bolton in the 2nd half,we should have scored few more. The build up of the 3rd goal was really simple & beautiful, what a pleasure to watch. Silent night was just over, but all the Reds will sleep in heavenly peace tonight

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

FT Pool 3 Bolton 0

Well, finally after so many draws at last we had a resounding win n a polished performance fr a Liverpool team who really worked their hearts out. Bolton tried d ah kua defensive football but too bad it didnt work this time. it was always crucial to grab THAT 1st goal; once it was achived, d goals started to flow. Kudos to Kuyt n Benayoun who really ran their lungs out. Ben, esp was full of trickeries n created lotsa problems for d opposing defence.

It was nice to see Gerrard n Kuyt bein taken off with 15 mins left, when we were oredi in a commanding 3-0 lead. Oso nice to see Keane scoring 2, hope this will inject a big boost to his confidence.

Lookin fwd to see Torres (hopefully) back agt Newcastle. It's gonna b anthr tough tough game @ St James.

AV-Arse game starting soon .... a DRAW wd b d ideal result for Pool!

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Kelong season. 1 draw, all draw. 1 win, all win. Like that how to bet? Lucky I don't bet on football. Tonight was a good victory. Sometimes, really dunno who liverpool team will turn up. Almost same group of players.

Come on Insua, grow 5 cm more and I think you will be another threat at headers. At 19, it's still possible. Fantastic game today for Insua and Hyypia.

agree with u bro. last wk, i bet i lost. tis wk i wanted to bet but no bet, my bets came out. like Man C to beat Hull (gd odds @ 1.70), Wigan to beat NC .. but in d end too lazy to go SFools so nvr buy.

if i didnt recall wrongly, Pool -1.5 was 1.95 agt bolton??? i thk Pool played punters out so many times in d past wks, many ppl oso sianz liao, didnt dare go n bet liao. juz imagine if Pool didnt get d 1st goal, then drag into d 2nd half it may well turn out to b d same old usual story again. Haizzzz ...

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

the player that made a huge difference last night was benayoun. he was always gonna pop up with an assist or goal and it was obvious to me that he provides more speed and penetration down the right flank than kuyt. with his deft passing and one touch flicks, he gave liverpool the attacking flair that has been lacking. as i have been always mentioning, i dunno y this guy is not playing more often.

this is the 4-4-2 that benitez should play at anfield. keane plays better as a supporting striker than as a lone one. the trio central midfielder axis of mascherano-alonso-gerrard simply does not create the width or attacking threat.

that said, i think benayoun would probably be benched again on sunday

Don't fully agree bro. You see that Rafa will play Yossi at home against massed defences. As to his contributions, he does bring intelligence to our game and he creates or has chances. On the minus side, he is not much faster than Kuyt because of his tendency to cut back or in or over-dribble.

We are well made up for the away game without Yossi - strong defensive and midfield spine.

On the Bolton game, I thought we passed all over hell yesterday, but it was Riera's boot from a corner which changed the game. It's all about confidence; we still have much to do at Anfield before it becomes a fortress for us rather than the visitors.

Did you watch the half time report where the TV pundits analysed Benyanoun on the Tiger Telestrator. He seems to drift out of position. The clip shown shows him running from the right side of midfield to the left side... But his skills are undeniable. If only we can play him as the 2nd striker... He will be great there.

I think Kuyt is on the right side partly cos he works his socks off there, seldom drifts out of position and is defensively better than Benyanoun. You think Benyanoun will play again on Sunday at Newcastle after playing a full 90mins.

Man U damn lucky. A draw or even a Stoke victory would be a fair result.

mash is more suited for ECL football. as d destroyer in midfield agt stronger oppositions. which is y he is often benched in EPL. which i find it's such a waste of talent n $$$. he could hv joined 1 of d teams in mid position in EPL, which may utilise him more to d max. i like him altho he's a rough player who often gets yellow-carded, his timely tackles r admirable. wonder hw come he didnt complain of lack of games??? mayb he's more suited for d tough italian league. any takers???

who can resist when big clubs want to sign them
then again, bunnytease should learn his lesson; he got too many players available for him.

I will start my verbal assault on him soon, IF he starts selling Benayoun!

Goodbye Pennant. It has been great to have you around but with injuries.... thats another issue.

but he wants to prove something.. and he is still here.... but his workrate........ is pathetic.

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

tomorr Pool plays away to Newcastle.

odds pretty attractive for a Pool win @ 1.75.

St James park isnt an easy ground to play, n NC's form had been quite gd lately, altho they lost to Wigan away with 10 men yester.

as usual, as a frustrating gambler, we will always ponder which Liverpool wd show up. based on form n momentum, Pool should win. But there is no such thg as SHOULD in epl, n more so with our inconsistent Pool.

Hmmmmmm ... tough decision eh.

Yeah man. YOU made the brightest statement. Truely agree with u. BUT there is really a few worth picking up to bombard:

Donut.
El Zhar.

and Bunnytease himself; for trying to be overly patient when there is all the advantage to go for a kill. Then again, still on top, the teams are not like it used to be, everyone's overall points are quite close together.... This year's league is not the same as always. Big 4 starts to worry even against smaller teams.

You. Will never walk alone 1892.

Things to ponder : Keep Benayoun playing 100%. Give Ryan MORE playing time. Dump donut. Insua is rock solid, play him or try others at the position instead of donut. Donut for one thing has, averahe barline crosses. Poor, WEAK crosses elsewhere.

Alp. Out.
