Yes...just like us while travel to hcm...we are a guest in a foreign country and must comply to their laws...cannot be caught and then deport...future no more welcome...

I had mentioned before that if any foreigner can stay in a country longer than 90 days in a six months period then he will be a resident and that means the laws flawed if he was permitted in on a social visa...

I ever speak to a ICA officer b4...he told me that vietnam is not one of those country which is "under" work permit", meaning vietnamese work here cant have work permit....surprisingly I heard of vietnamese working in factory...and even saw a few of them in factory attired speaking vietamnese....how they able to work...I also dont know....

vietnamese factory workers has been in singapore for more than 2 years roi. if you go to the work passes center, you will be able to see instructions in tieng viet. Vietnamese workers are considered NTS (non-Traditional Source). In vietnam, unless you are professionals, or else normal workers need to apply to government approved labour agents to go abroad to work. These workers also need to apply to ward police before going abroad to work.

my bxa have been approved for LTVP, can advice where to go for the medical checkup and must it be government clinics? wat is the cost n what kind of checkup is require?

you can bring yr baxa to any clinic, private or govt. if i m not wrong, yr baxa will need to take x ray, blood test n also urine test. when my baxa got her PR some yrs bk, i brought her to raffles hospital, near to bugis. Its a one stop center, got x ray etc, no need to go different places to do different test. as for cost, i m not so sure of the cost now.
