Obafemi Martins' agent claims the Newcastle striker is wanted by three Premier League clubs, with Arsenal, Everton and Aston Villa all linked. - this is a more interesting buy than MO. I would like to see him linked up with Saha/Yak.

German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have told Everton they have no chance of signing Serbian defender Neven Subotic. - sense another bidding war on this player. DM should have more sense than to overpay for an unproven player.

Anyway, Peterlin is now the 1st player to join Everton for the new season. Jo is looking to sign on for another year too.

hi Tom,

Glad to hear we had a new signing n Jo is on loan again.

Actually im hoping it will be a injury free season this year for us. or at least no MAJOR injuries to our Key Players.

With Yak & Arteta out but still we managed to finish 5th was really good.
and i do hope we have a Fully fit squad for the whole of the new season n let see whether we can finish top 4

& my Bro bought their new Jersey liao....don really like it le...haha

Hoping that Lescott will not be lured by the big bucks offered by Manchester Shitty.
Latest news was that Shitty offered 19mil for Lescott which was rejected by Moysey.

Agreed - it certainly seems like his heart is elsewhere. Rumourhas it that Moyes is chasing Robert Huth and Steven Taylor as replacements. Good choice, I would say.

Everton have applied for work permit for Argentine midfielder Ever Banegra after agreeing a loan deal with Valencia. - this fellow could turn out to be a gem.

Everton will make a £12million double raid for Tottenham duo David Bentley and Alan Hutton. - we certainly need some cover for right back; not too sure about Bently though.

so we can buy a few good players.

I always have faith in DM, so i sure the Spurs Duo will do us good & also the Argentine young chap

I do believe JL is worth 30MM though - maybe 20plus upfront and the rest as installment or performance related fees.

Good news : Ever looks like he is on his way to Goodison Park now - just secured his work permit below.

Another disappointing 1-0 defeat to Burnley. Moyes really need to get over the Lescott saga fast and concentrate on the real biz of strengthening his squad.

Starting with Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov perhaps.

We are only getting 24MM for Lescott - kind of shortchanged.

We should see both Ever and Diniyar unveiled as Toffeemen in the next 24-48 hrs. Keep ur fingers crossed.

PS: We still need reinforcements at the back though. Hibbert and Phil N are not viable choices as defenders.

Disapointing end to the transfer frenzy....

Moyes had been in the market for several players, and promised four new faces the weekend. In fact he managed just one, with Valencia eventually changing their minds and blocking a loan move for winger Ever Banega.

Distin and the russian were purchased prior to last weekend. Moyes indicated that he is looking for 4 firm purchases just before the transfer deadline looms; only one - Johnny Hentinga's transfer went through.
