If you think about it, you are better off doing this:

Sin-Bkk- Sin for 900 thb return x 2 ways.

Bkk-Hatyai-Bkk for 600 thb return x 2 ways.
(sandwich this between the sin-bkk-sin portion and enjoy Bkk before & after hatyai.)

The only problem is that you have to book as far in advance as October now to enjoy these fares. (only possible on internet bookings).

Thanks. I have tried Pink Lady these 2 days for 1600 per 2 hour sessions.

Yep... I have tried the afternoon run (not "midnight run") all the way to the north. Did it on few occasions when I could not get seats on direct SG-HDY flight
Airticket SG-KL S$150
KL-Alor Star S$90 (on MAS...Airasia is cheaper)
Taxi from Alor Star to Ayer Hitam (S$20)
Taxi from Ayer Hitam to HDY (S$20)
Airticket HDY-SG (one way) 4400b (S$190)

Total = S$470 (about twice direct SG-HDY-SG ticket)
Trip also takes longer (about 4 hrs one way)
Of 'cos if go from SG-JB and then from JB-AS will be slightly cheaper but travelling time will increase and more hassle.

Going via Alor Star is a change and interesting as you go thru' the padi field and Malay heartland...see many "ninjas" in scarves

JB > Pg direct flight via AirAsia will be more convenient, cost effective and faster. From PG > BKH via taxi cost only RM120/cab.

You wont have the same feeling when you cheonging there once every few weeks and you started to accumulate more private contacts. Now I prefer hanging out at nights with some puying friends and hunt for surprise.

Sugar Beat on Friday and Saturday nights at the end or beginning of the month has quite a lot of chio bu university people but I prefer the Sugar Beat joint in Bangkok.

Other places - cheong Lotus Supermarket store, Diana Shopping Centre, Odeon Shopping Centre (cheong the staff working there), Robinsons. Time for these places: 4pm to 7pm daily. At Lee Gardens, there's a load of non-hookers working at two major boutiques - 2nd floor and third floor, aim for the 2nd floor one first, it's called CATWALK.

high quality chickens: go to Garden Home, the KTV at 2nd floor, the girls are pretty there. Can also try 6th floor of SC Heritage hotel, by the way, the disco cafe opens at 2.30am and closes at 5am.

Apart from these two places, the next lower rung of quality girls are found at Lee Garden massage centre 7th floor and the Sakura hotel area. The Si Kim Yong area of KTVs are ok if you want cheap and cheaper still if you go to an area called Toon Sao.

Ap Nam places: Pink Lady, Chao Pyra 4, another place is opposite Chao Pyra 4. Si Kim Yong has one called Villa Cafe. near Emperor hotel/disco (disco now dead) is Atami massage.

Disco cheong - Touristy is the grand old lady called Hollywood, near Lee Gardens. mixed tourist and local is Paragon, almost local is Sotus.

Pubs: West Side Salon, hook free-lancers, Zulu - girl rental, Post Laser - hook, The Pub - hook but not worth your time. Sugar Beat - hook. Route 9 - girl rental, Buffalo Village - hook, Brass Monkey - girl rental, SC Heritage Night Cafe - hook, Valentine - old man's KTV but some of the girls got nice boobs and are more experienced, they'll even drive you around or lend you their cars to drive if you are sugar enough to sugar daddy them.

proper KTV with nice girls: Si Kim Yong area - The Piano, Sakura hotel (standard goes up and down), Garden Home Hotel plus many more.
