For motordup from airport to Phnom Penh, those who hang around the airport will normally ask for USD3 and seldom willing to go lower. if you want cheaper, you can try your luck by walking out on to the main road and wave down any motodup passing by and ask for Phnom Penh. but the max you can save is USD1, which isn't worth it. Motodup which are found idling at a specific locations are always safer than motodup waved down from the street because they have a informal territorial system and only those that are in the business of carrying passengers everyday do they get to idle at a specific locations without being disturbed by other motodups. in that way, you get a certain assurance that the motodup is interested in repeat business everyday and not some hit-n-run driveby who will whack and rob you. I was in Cambodia for nearly one year and I have been taking motodup everyday on this basis and never got into any trouble. TAKE NOTE: the road from Pochentong airport to Phnom Penh is VERY DUSTY. depending on how well your body adapt to this, one could get sore throat and fall sick from over exposure. if you easily fall sick, taking a car taxi is the best proposition. |

Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
Just a few more things to add on the Pub at Riverside.
There is one known as 69 before but now change name to 369 I think. This place is packed, with bar top dancing all night, few pubs along the street, one of them is Pussycat (don't go there, older ladies), by the way Rose Pub is the same owner of Pussycat. Watch out for girls pushing for free drinks, they get a dollar for every free drink. At Casa, look for Ah Yin or Ah Chim (They are sister and young) that what the girl told me, their Mummy is Vong My Ha HP 012827756. I hope this help all my brothers. Going back to PP tomorrow. |

Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
Just to add on, Himawari is managed by Singapore company, if the manager is in town then I prolly is able to get corporate rate for u. If you don't mind hard bed, Phnom Penh Hotel rooms are from USD55 with corporate rate and its quite a good hotel here as well. I think Raffles Hotel and InterCon only give up to 30% for corporate rate, you can get similar rates with those ulu vietnamese or cambodian so called "international" website but its a little risky because their service sucks and if they didn't manage to book for u then its quite troublesome.

Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
Hi All Bros,
Since there is no posting for few days, I would just update some news on Phnom Penh: 1. SHANG Bar - Singaporean own bar just newly open for 3months. Located in between Bunny Bar and Zanzi Bar. The owners have brought in 12 Fillipinos Girl. Though no very beautiful but at least can communicate in English fully. something for a change in the Pub Sence in Phnom Penh. 2. Billabong Hotel - as far as I know, has become the first hotel in Phnom Penh that does not welcome female companion to be brought in by their guest unless the gal holds a foreign passport. My guest was told by the hotels staff upon checking in and they immediate turn their back and check into another hotel. SBF Phnom Penh, CAMWAR update CHEERS! |

Re: Cambodia (Phnom Penh)
Just wondering any seniors here had been to siem reap and how is the night life there? Heard that virtually there is no additional packages on offer besides visiting Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap River. Hmm.. its gonna be a very holy trip for me on sep then..... any bros out there has any info to spare on this ancient province?
