If you go 15th and return 21st , you will only have 1 dry full day to enjoy. Its fun when you are expecting people to splash you water but not fun when you are going to eat/drink/cheong and some idiot (falang,indian,chinese) tourist and even thai throw some cold water on you especially at night! Its supposed to stop at sunset but some idiots don't know th unwritten rules. I am planning 17th night to 26th April I think its gonna be another big group , already I can estimate 9 or 10.

For me I still enjoy the stroll at the beach with all the food carts available..and watching everybody release the lanterns..the sky is a sight to behold. Me no have wan jai either but going with some friends...its something different to do in Pattaya. Concerts and game stalls also aline Beach road so it works for some people. One thing for sure..many girls will be more willing to go with anybody as they want to be part of the festival.

Hi bros in Pattyland now
Just wondering if any could advise what's the weather like in bkk/pattyland now? Has the rainy season arrived? Are hotels relatively cheaper in Patty during this period? Thank you!

My Pattaya Experience
Just got back from a trip with the boys and it was a good trip! Day 1 Arrived at Pattaya late afternoon - and the taxi ride cost us 1500 THB from DMK Airport. Per my understanding, Surabhani is much nearer so the taxi cost might be lower from there, not to mention reduced travelling time to Pattaya. We had a quick shower, change and grabbed early dinner at the hotel before heading out. Wandered down Soi 8 - 12 and I'm not sure if its sheer bad luck or perhaps it was too early but the quality of girls imo, was not my cup of tea. There were girls of all shapes and sizes and perhaps the odd few attractive ones which were commanding attention from the mostly ang moh guys who were looking for a cheaper alternative to Walking Street. By about 11pm - we'd had zero luck finding any girls that we wanted. So we grabbed a local taxi (song tau?) which is basically a pickup truck with seats behind that functions like a public bus. If you are near the beachfront, and given its a one way street, it will take you to Walking Street. 10 THB per person, unlimited distance, and just press the bell when you want to alight. As a side note, you can have the local taxi's, if they are empty, take you to a certain destination that isn't on their usual route. Bargain hard and you can usually get a ride from between 100-150 THB. Note that the usual route would be a circuit of the different sois and beachfront - where all the major hotels are. Anyways we ended up at Walking Street and to me - this was by far the best place to be in Pattaya - with everything you could need/want. There are however two small problems. The girls in the regular bars are generally more attentive and eager to please. That said, the quality is also generally pretty average and the girls are also generally older. BUT if you sit down and chat to them, play bar games and buy them a drink or two - then you are basically setting the mood and in my opinion generally give better service than the GoGo Bar girls. So problem 1 - do you go for the stunning girl with potentially crap service in a GoGo bar OR do you settle for a friendlier, average girl at a regular bar that gives better service? Personally I was torn but I couldn't bring myself to either do a milf or a fatty (LOL) and so its off to the GoGo bars I went. "Mandarin" - Small, oriental themed GoGo bar with a selection of maybe 20-30 girls? Generally young, good figures but were also generally pretty robotic while dancing. I couldn't speak much Thai so communicating was an issue. Left after 1/2 beer. "Alcatraz" - Pretty much next door to Mandarin, much bigger club with slightly more girls. Drop dead gorgeous girls but again were pretty robotic and I was getting the feeling that it would be a pretty bad fuck that I'd have to pay a premium for. I motioned one of the girls over and she had this amazing ass and the sweetest GND face. Bought her a drink and heres the funny thing - they almost expect you to "court" them and make them laugh before they will start treating you better. So I tried in my half past six Thai and didn't get anywhere. Wanted to barfine her on the spot (1000 THB in a GoGo bar) BUT she only wanted to do Short Time for like 3000 THB....and so I said no, paid my drinks and left. Decided to wander down the rest of Walking Street to see whats up - and so we did. Ended up nearly at the end of Walking Street where we sat at this one bar with a live band at the corner of a side street. It was across the road from the 4D Cinema thing and a couple of shitty Russian joints. My mate picked up these two above average looking girls but who had amazingly tight bodies and barfined them on the spot (500 THB each). By then it was getting late 1am ish and the girls were getting taken up pretty quickly, well at least the pretty ones and so we headed off to another GoGo bar. "AngelWitch" - Not sure if this is affiliated to the one in Bangkok but the theme is pretty much the same. Rock/Soft Rock music, live strip tease and dance acts, S&M kind of stuff and one girl even got hot wax dripped on her. Had a good time in there. Girl quality was actually not as good as Alcatraz but better then Mandarin. I got chatting to a friendly waitress and she had a good figure and a cute face and above all was very friendly - so I went with my gut instinct and barfined her. Lets just say that I was right - GFE gao gao and she even gave me her number. So problem 2 - GoGo girls, especially the super hot ones, generally only do Short Time so they can go back to the club asap and get another sale. So question is, are you a short time kinda guy or not? For me - I preferred LT but to each their own. Day 2 Got up, breakfast and I must say - the breakfast at the Wave Hotel was really good! Plus I went down 30 mins after breakfast ended and they STILL did breakfast fresh for me! Let me take this time to talk about the hotel - Wave is an American themed hotel. Complete with an American tricked out Cadillac in pink, parked out front. The rooms are amazing with a bath, separate shower and separate toilet and was tastefully decorated. It cost about 200 SGD a night via Agoda but worth every penny. Service was excellent AND as it was a flash hotel? The extra benefit was that the girls also stayed longer Anyways we decided to do some Go Karting and ended up at this place at EasyKart which was at Bali Hai Pier at the end of Walking Street. Not walkable - take a taxi. We took a local taxi and he charged us 150 THB for 4 of us. Bargain. We did 4 sessions of 8 mins each session and cost us 3000 THB each if I recalled correctly. We were all given hair netting and the place was clean and well run. The helmets were clean as well and overalls were provided but we didn't wear them. Shoes are mandatory so don't wear slippers! If required you can rent shoes from them. The session was tiring but hell of a lot of fun! We were given lap time sheets after each race and we could sit down and analyse how to improve times and stuff - the result was after each race? Our best times kept getting better as we slowly but surely found out the limits to which we can push the Karts! My best time was 46.188 - can anyone beat?  Taxi back to hotel and decided to jump undress and jump into the pool. Total bliss after a hot and sweaty afternoon! Relaxed for a while before going up to hotel to shower and change for dinner. Went down to Walking street and didn't bother with soi hunting this time round. Had a decent Seafood meal there and we started the night off at a regular bar playing pool and bar games with some girls. "Bacara" - Again not sure if affiliated with the BKK one but the place was nicely done up and reasonably sized. A bit wiser to the game now so took one look at the dance floor, didn't fancy any girls and walked straight out lol. Don't get me wrong though, there were some hot girls but just didn't like the vibe. "Happy A GoGo" - Off a side street but holy hell the girls were hot! Anyhow I wanted to barfine a few hotties but same shit, different day - only wanted Short Time and so we left. Went to this one GoGo that we cant remember the name but the theme was Air Hostesses in either white or Black uniforms. Theres a Jacuzzi in the middle where you can pay a small fee to bathe a girl lol. Basically get to rabbah rabbah a bit lol. There was also a back stage that you can drag an unsuspecting mate up where the girls and the bouncer will drag you on stage while the girls mercilessly will hit you with foam "batons" a la S&M style. Quite funny. We had a great time in this bar but only one of us managed to barfine a girl for LT and had to pay 1000 THB Barfine + 4000 THB LT fee. She was young, petite an hot though so money well spent! Went back to AngelWitch just to chill for a bit and the very same waitress that I had barfined - was very friendly and nice to me. Bought her some drinks and didn't fancy any of the Angelwitch girls so she did me a massive favour! She took us to "Sensation" which was actually pretty damn good. Hot young girls and she introduced the manager to us and brought her dancer/waitress friends over. While yes they asked for drinks but we were treated like royalty as we were brought in by a local and very soon we had our pick of the girls. I promptly barfined the very same waitress and her friend - an awesomely petite, 21 year old with a killer butt and the most sensuous slow grind you have ever seen! I even stopped into a Pharmacy to pick up some blue pills as I wanted a nite to remember and not just wham bam sleep lol. But before we did, we stopped off at iBar (a club) for some drinks and the music was good so we were dancing and plenty of FL's around to choose from as well but I already had my hands full with two chicks lol. Cut a long story short we partied till 4am, was back in hotel and three of us in the bathtub by 4:45am and with the added power of the blue pills - we fucked for a few hours and given they were tipsy and good friends, gave me quite the show as well. They woke me up in and around lunchtime with a BJ and a cat bath and we fucked again before taken a long hot bath together while waiting for room service food. Best night ever! Day 3 Third nite we decided to take it easy as frankly we were all just worn out lol and had an early morning transfer back to Bangkok for 2 more nights Hope the experiences and rough guides to the places on Walking Street will help some of the bros here to have a good time too!
