Yesterday night, went to sing song with 1 thai colleagues and some of his friends near old airport.

3 pipers + 10 beers + 5 girls (sing song for 4 hours @ BHT 240 per girl an hour).
Total bill = BHT 6.5k

girl for take away around BHT 2k.

Is this rate ok in bkk?
My thai colleague also feel a bit on the high side.

You mean that busy, chaotic place (daytime) ard Pratunam? Used to stay at Centre Point Petchburi 15. Nothing happens (at night) in neigbourhood, if I can recall. Just get your ass down to Makasan Plaza (rub down) and SC + Nana within a reasonable cab ride away. And as always, bright lights of Ratchada arb nam beckons

There's a karaoke lounge near the Phayathai intersection on your left. Forget the name now. Has a heart sign. Dingy place, little stage where girls take turns to sing. One of them had a dress with home-made "F-U-C-K M-E" lettering on it. Some pretty girls. Would love to hear if anyone already has FR from there ..

Hmmm, quite a crowd for Muse outing. Can't think of any reason to spoil your party of 10. But hear it can be packed on peak nights. On Makasan, it's more arb nam place (3 MPs?). Check out massage thread recent pages on directions. On Petch rd towards suk direction, across some train tracks etc
