The one I mentioned are those located along old shop houses, not so much neon light display, don't know similar to what you said. Anyway, the price should have gone up, especially during that time most of the KTV in downtown, tips was RMB200.
Price has increased drastically but not our pocket money.......

Afterall, to me HC would still be a better choice than KTV.

Dear bros,

Just to share, Suzhou KTV is not that cheap compared to SH. I went to this KTV in Suzhou along their so called shopping strret similiar to SH Nanjing Road. From the outside, it looks like any old 2/3story shophouses. Once you enter the premises, there is this huge wooden boat suspended from the ceiling. The KTV rooms are located on the 2nd/3rd floor. Decor is nice and clean and it is a good place to entertain yr customers. However, I must say that this joint is quite strict with the gels cos once u have made yr selection of gels, the gels h/p are being consficated by the mm who serve u drinks/songs to prevent them from butterfly. Also, the gels are not supposed to smoke in front of the customers. Even if they are offered, they will smoke while keeping a lookout at the door in case the mamasan walk in. Damage wise, tips is 200rmb for the gels and the room charges are like 800 to 1000rmb.

Suzhou Jin Bi Hui Huan KTV is even more expensive. Rates are similar to the Jin Bi Hui Huan In SH. Tips for gels are 300RMB and the rooms charges are like 1.2kRMB to 1.5kRMB. Tips for the mm is 200RMB who serve you drinks/songs. Lookwise, most of the gels are not so pretty compared to those found in SH Jin Bi Hui Huan. I once asked and was told that the locals actually like the gels to be a liitle of those kumpong type!! Those that are prettier has left for SH or Beijing KTV already. However there are still gems to be found there. Just for sharing.

I think I saw that mm during my subsequent visit to the place but did not approach to confirm. Well, you can always tell her meet then see how loh. Why so fast reject her lah? Or you can tell her "日"后再说！See how is her reaction loh. ..

Look like you need more exposure to the local scene, get your good bro at Nanjing to show you loh, see how well he can talk? Sure you can tips from him.
For me, I cannot lah, too many spies in town. So HC would still be a better choice.

I've been in Shanghai a while and have paid more than a few visits to BBS and had a few girls in hotels. But have to say that a good HC is far above anything else in terms of service, girls and pure enjoyment.

Have only been to Shanghai Hotel and Yan Ping. Have to say that YP HC was a big disappointment. The place is shabby and run down and the bathroom not all that nice. The rooms are very worn and it looks like they have given up on the set routine with the girl just jumping into it. The only saving grace was the cute girl with world class BJ skills. The final nail was when they shined my shoes, putting shitty Chinese polish on a US$1,000 pair of shoes. Was too late by the time I got back so had to just say thanks and walk out before I blew-up.

One thing I have always avoided is the girls that try and draw you into bars, assumed from the stories that you'd either just be wasting your time buying drinks for no action, or you'd get ripped off. Well Friday night I came across a fantastic looking girl who did just that, well, full of beer and with 2 hours to kill I decided...what the f(*&k.

Well, I was not disappointed. We got a back booth and I bought 2 drinks (thinking "that is going to cost me") she started into a whole girlfriend thing. Chatting, touching, rubbing, then kissing...was a lot of fun. But still in my mind I'm going to be stopped at the door by thugs and lose all my money.

Well, before long she was straddling me and had little brother out. Giving him a good rubbing and telling me how much she wanted him!!!! I was enjoying this, especially as it was very public! Well, I told her that I just wanted a hj so we ducked to the bathroom and she obliged. No discussion of price and she was happy when I gave her 200.

Time to leave, well, here goes, I'm ready to hand over the goods. Well, they hand me a bill for 60... they were pleased when I gave them 100. They wished me a good night and my girl gave me a big kiss.

Damn was I wrong about this place. 300 for 2 hours, a great time, 2 beers and a hj.

Hope that was worth something to you all.

It is always nice to venture, move around and hunt, that is the spirit of being in a new place. Nevertheless, not all places are out to rip our ass off. Of course, exposure and composure play a major part. Glad to know that you have got yourself a pleasing bargain, hope to see more venues explored.

By the way, if you wanna get a good HC while price and distance is not a problem for you, then Tian Long is a good bargain.

Oh I forgot to add, if anyone is into nurse costume then Tian Long is place for now. Seems that nurse uniform is the "in" thing for now. Looking at the big Red Cross and bonking your favourite nurse......
