As for ladyboys..I never avoid them. If one smiled at me..I smile back.. if one grabbed me by the hand..I just walk along with them and tell them I only go with lady. If a ladyboy grab my glasses and run into her bar..which happened once..I gave the nearest motorbike taxiboy 40 baht to get it back for me.
The bigger incidences of cheatilng is by bars or gogos that pad your bin.This really irks me.
For WLs and ladyboys ..they just trying to earn their next meal..or buy that new handphone.
Jomtien beach is nicer but not much la. Besdes that you can do or visit the below non-whoring activates during the day.
Island trip , paintball , jungee , temple tour , floating market , Sanctuary of Truth , golf , massage , gym , fishing , dirt bike , zoo , Noog Nooch Garden , SCUBA , crocodile park , Elephant parks , go kart , pool , shopping ......... i am stopping coz i am getting tired!
You need to open your eyes when walking around!
If you think Pattaya is a shithole during the daytime , you should visit AC!
I don't like it coz its changing Pattaya from the sleepy town that I used to know into a more expensive tourist destination it is today. But I cant do anything it so just enjoy what it is today.

Ya I did a bit of research but in the end, when I was on the ground, stuck to walking around and massage. Maybe next time I will venture more....

Pattaya also hosts many international events..For example now is the Pattaya Motor Show..plenty of cute girls to look at..even a bazaar along Beach road.

I have been to many destinations in Thailand, Pattaya was then my least visited one. Now it's it like second home.....knn.
Can't agreed more on the beach, so many visit here, i have not step into the beach at Beach Road. Frankly this was the turn off for me 20+ years ago. Now I am not looking at the beach. I prefer Jom Tien beach....
Day time, plenty of activities...... but your really must be prepared to move around (so be mobile)... Bro ATL is right, too much to mention... for me, so many golf courses to play on. The Western food is excellent.....

Yes, totally agree that over intoxication is the prime cause of most travails when out mongering. This is why I many times actually hang on and just play with the bin the whole time when I'm in a place I'm not familiar with. This gives me a constant reality check as to how much I've consumed plus of course not give them the chance to stuff the bin.
As for ladyboys - again the problem with beer goggles AND how truly skilled the plastic surgeons are in Thailand these days. At least a couple times I nearly got caught out; lucky I remembered and just plain out asked her (???) if she's a real girl or not. Just tipped her a bit and sent her off. But they were close calls.

Simple la , just don't have eye contact with LB and don't drink anything away from bars or anything you didn't see open can/bottle yourself la.
I got a friend who put it nicely - ANGRY FACE! When you see someone you don't want to talk to , indian tailor , special show touts , LBs etc , walk quickly past them with the 'angry face' 50% of the time they wont approach you. Other 50% of the time just thick skin a bit and keep walking la.
I kena one time last songkran when Bro Soi 6 left me at Drinking Street. I decided to stroll back via the beach so had to cut thru soi 2. Fucking LB an her partner was eyeing me the moment I enter the soi. I act blur and just walk and the damn LB started - hello darling while reaching for my pocket. I pushed her away and kept walking with an eye on the side in case she/he jump me. She/he just boarded their bike and rode away. Be firm , don't hurt them so you avoid further confrontation and keep walking!
Also never bring more than what you are going to spend for the nite. If kena drug in ST hotel , not much to be stolen, Chances are high in your own hotel (if reputable) , they will collect the charbo's ID and will call you when they leave to ensure everything is ok. If a charbo doesn't want to go to your hotel , DO NOT TAKE HER! Usually she is underaged or wanted! Think with your big head , do not pay in advance for ANYTHING!

haha...you need to go to these Cities that I mentioned la...otherwise no chance to see or play on the beaches...you need to bring own gals there...quite impossible to hook gals there...esp Hoi An cannot find any gal younger than 30yrs old...

i had been to almost every part of Thailand many times...been to most of the Thailand beaches since 1980s...I had played golf in CM, Patt, BKK, Phuket over many many years...just sharing some of these nice beaches in Vietnam...by the time the Viet gahmen commericalised the beaches then prices will be very different...now is still public beaches...
I do agreed with you that I am bias to Vietnam now becos I used to like Thailand till I discovered Vietnam...
555555555 last time like apple now like orange! Phuket used to have the best mix of tourism and beaches and girls but the damn locals (govt and civillians) so damn greedy that they made a mess of it all! I like it best before Junkcelyon was built!

when i was in thailand...i learned to speak Thai...now in Vietnam...I learned to speak Vietnamese...already learned more than 7 yrs...still primary school tieng viet...but enough to get me anywhere I want to go within Vietnam...
used to dream of retiring in Thailand back in 2000...now no more...choice is Vietnam...just like to stretch my SGD retirement longer...
