Hi Guys,

I am going down to ICA to ask more info. If I have her photocopy of the passport, is it enough? She now back in china, she don't use computer at all so if any documents I need she have to mail it to me.

u go down ICA also no use. Since u say she back in China, so i dont suppose she worked in any of the thai houses lo. should be a streetwalker? and if she was deported or wadsoever, no need waste ur time liao..

if u need to get married, you should be looking for the embassies and ROM. not ICA.

well i do agree with VM on this. if she deported back then dont even talk about getting ROM in sgp bcos u cant even step into singapore. even can step in singapore n get rom. high chance she cannot get a LTVP or worst being jail from coming to singapore if use diff passport.

even marrying her in china that doesnt mean can use that excuse to bring her back to singapore. if banned means banned. we cant give much advice on that other then ICA.

I did not read all the posts (partly becos there seem to be other discussions not relating to the TS). Someone, quite reliable, ever told me that foreign wives have to meet certain criteria, namely their education and occupation. Of course not having any previous convictions will help. So not just ex-GL worker will face problems coming in. In other words, only those FT are eligible. I am curious, if a local woman married a foreigner, will he have problems if he was not graduate or a blue collar worker.
