maybe you can also try Carnival... me and PC5566 went there. Nice modern rooms...very small but appealing. Convenient for cheonging like HH as Carnival has its own KTV :-)

You can consider 东莞凯莱酒店 Dong Guan KL Hotel, I have not stayed there before but heard it is quite decent. But location not so good, food and shopping not convenience.

Stayed at this one before. Aside from location. its is well known among Taiwanese. more hotel like than LQD although not as central.
Internet good. Room also good.
Rates not bad too. Can consider.

About RMB10 cap ride to Chang An center... about 5-10min depending traffic... becuase it is near to 107...very noisy and very crowded type of feeling...

Sifu Kiwi, actually there is a lot of hotel choices in CA but because of the location therefore they were not considered. Ca unlike Cp was developed as a industrial town and as the taiwanese invaded the nightlife flourished. Whereas CP started off as a sex town for the HKies therefore its like hatyai town in thailand where everything is within walking distance.

If you want better hotels, there are 长安国际，海悦酒店，金至尊 just to name a few. Btw the last 2 stated hotels have their own KTV and they are very upmarket ones, not the wild types. But girls quality and pricing slightly more too.

If brothers here wants to go DFML, can even consider staying at 帝盈 or simply known as MGM(unrelated to the one in Vegas hor) which is directly next to DFML. Its quite a good hotel and there is a small town 3 mins car ride behind the hotel. If anyone stays there and does not want to go CA central for makan or wash hair and so forth just grab a tuk tuk like vehicle there and tell the driver you wanna go 华润 and the driver will just take u there for 10rmb. Lots of shops and makan if you just walk around, no need go all the way back to CA central.
