If i recall corrrectly, the retirement isa is for 1 year each and you can only renew 5 time ? Also need to contribute to the indon economy etc ? Hire housekeeper etc ?

Last year I saw a Taiwanese woman work permit holder working as a counter receptionist in Causeway Point, she said living costs/standard in Taiwan nowadays is lower/cheaper than the 1st-tier cities and 2nd-tier cities in China

Actually not so jialat what. You can rent 2 rooms out for income for the rest of your life. If you keep working, you will have CPF set aside and can still save unused salary portion. Just transfer OA money to SA since you do not need to pay for mortgage. Plus do some investment.

If you retire at 65 or 70, should be ok. In the meantime, find a job you find meaningful and interesting.

If u stay there long term, u need to rent a room or a house, ur minimum 3 meal aday and weekly massage plus bonking sessions, smoking, drinking, gathering with friends and family in kopitiam, food court, restuarant, ktv, Pub and bar. Last and not least Indo call it Jackpot saloon and not advertise openly casino, r all this activities contributions to the Indo economy ?

I am also a divorced guy that is 49-years-old this year.

My 2 kids are both grown up, 1 son is 23-yrs-old and the other son is 27-years-old and he married this year.

This year 2020 in January I met this singaporean woman from a dating platform for a lunch date. She is local-born.

She is also 49-years-old and she works as a security staff at the airport those check luggage type. Meaning she is quite lowly-educated. Think she at most only have A-levels or O-levels, maybe even N-levels.

She is not pretty. She is quite fat.

And yet during the lunch meeting, she ask me I got at least executive HDB flat or a small condo or not? (A HDB executive flat is slightly bigger than a HDB 5-rm flat)

When I told her I own a HDB 4-rm flat, her facial expression looks very very sian and she don't want to continue the conversation anymore.

This fat singaporean woman is shocking.

Anyway, my own 4-rm flat is also fully-paid up. And my eldest son he married and he bought his own hdb flat already.

I stay in Bukit Batok West for 17 years already.

Anyone that has been staying in Bukit Batok West for more than 15 years will know of this hawker couple, The singaporean man is a handicapped guy, his 1 arm and 1 leg is deformed and he is low-income, his china bride is about 15-years younger than him, they operate a hawker stall in a coffeeshop selling Ban Mian and some other Hokkien province's delicacies there.

They had been married for more than 18-years already, their son now in polytechnic.

Although also got some foreign brides no good but foreign brides's character are generally still better than singapore-born women.

If that handicapped singaporean guy never marry his this china bride, he will never have a chance to experience a happy family life because 1) his 1 arm and 1 leg is handicapped and he is low-income, he has no skill. No singaporean woman will marry him.

In fact, is his china bride brought money and a prosperous life to him because his china wife can cook those Ban Mian and those Hokkien province delicacies and is becoz of her china wife, that this couple have a good hawker business for the past 20 years and can bring up their son until now study polytechnic.

Without his this china wife, that singaporean handicapp guy probably has to sell tissue papers for 3 packets for $1 at MRT stations or just do some part-time simple blue-collar work only and he will not have a successful good hawker business.
