This is not about spending your money on someone but rather on an experience that you crave for. What has it got to do with the ML? She's just providing a service that you can live without. Just because you don't have a pussy and not able to give HJ, BJ and FJ doesn't mean they can't make their money in these ways and definitely earn more than you and me.

People without any spare cash can only PCC but you still can spend some of your salary.

So, if you ever are going to spend less on these HC activities, you do it because you are clear headed in budgeting for your indulgence and family and not because you are pissed that MLs earn more than you.

If you're an old bird, you'd remember the famous Singtel from the 90s. She was featured in TNP for earning $20+k a month back then (she called herself Singtel coz she said Singtel screws everyone. quite clever right!). Adjust for inflation, higher earning power of Samsters etc, it's no surprise that this is and will always be a lucrative business. As one of the brudders said, if no money why do ML still do it (like cab drivers who complain and still drive cabs).

I remember Singtel saying that she would sleep all day and only woke up at 5pm to get ready for 'work'. She would have thousands in her handbag at all times and bought everything with cash coz it showed she wasn't living on credit like the men who visited her and entertained her.

But God is fair. She also said she knew she had a window period to make it. She was also human and fell in love with the wrong men, fell for their sad hard luck stories and ended up getting used by them, lending them money, giving them money to start failed businesses etc. And she couldn't imagine having children, in-laws etc so her regret was that she would only have superficial relationships her entire life.

I know many former MLs like Singtel who owned or ran Spas who are now relegated to operating from a tiny room in Geylang or in the heartlands. Many of their children/families have disowned them, they have had many abortions or children out of wedlock. So I would say while the local MLs may make decent to good money, it's not a bed of roses.

The exception to this, of course, are the PRCs. They are completely money-minded and know what they are here and in this business for.

My accountant always says that the PRCs know how to manja and moan about how big/how strong/how good Singaporean men are and somehow many fall for it. They stroke our fragile egos and we pay for their properties back home. Maybe it's a fair trade, I dunno.

Again, like one of the brudders said, everyone has some sort of vice and we all need to let off steam sometimes.

Just don't let it consume you. Or believe the BS the MLs tell you.

Many Ang Pai earn more than $500 a day. Alice charge $120 per BF/ BM. HJ at $80. Definitely can earn $500 a day. Melody earn $1000 a day from massage, hj and the occasional FJ

Its not difficult for the MLs to earn $500/day. Although supposed market rate is $50 for hj, u will still have customers who are tipping them 50-100 sometimes even when they get no hj. Lots of guys around throwing money everywhere.

Of course there is also those in the lower percentile range of MLs, who barely make a couple of hundred a day. Basically, spend what u feel is right, comparing what u earn and what they earn is pointless. If u feel the ML is not worth the tips, then dont bother giving it to her.

Is there a must to tip MLs? Anyone tried not tipping them before? It's like I paid for the service alrdy, why do I still need to tip them? In Singapore, we don't have a tipping culture unlike the US. I certainly don't tip the taxi driver or my hair dresser so why should I tip the ML/FL?
