Ya they can be super bo chap & heartless. Often my ex gal took 2-3 days to return call. Dun be conned by the same old excuse that phone card has no credit....

I also got this excuse before!

Like one bro mentioned, go in with zero expectations and give with a willing heart. They bo chap I also bo chap lor.This is how I think now. Give her the money as promised without expecting anything in return. More for the sake of helping her. If she do not quit and continue working its her call. I have already fulfilled and done what I promised.

Some thais have this kind of attitude towards calls. That is something like her character. U can expect everyone to be the same anyway.

There are japs and farangs who are working in thailand and speaks fluent thai. That could explains for the contact no and language used. But that is what i know/ and seen. does not mean applicable to ur situation.

Look at the number of deductions you are making! You simply know nothing about her. When the phone rings, why dont she pick up the phone? It's not that she has a no care attitude. She has something to hide for sure. How difficult is it to pick up the phone? Unless of course she is busy with something then that is understandable. And Did you ever ask her why she did not pick up the phone calls? See what kind of answers she is giving you.

She is definitely free to talk to anyone she wishes. I am just a friend to her.

I wouldn't define it a relationship. More like friendship.

About the robin hood issue, I never thought I will ever come to this. In my many years playing the field this is my first and only encounter where emotions came into play.

Very very true!!!! I can't agree more.

I've had Thai, M'sian, Chinese, Jap, Korean GFs... not WLs. And realize that language is not the only issue... its only a small part of a bigger dilemma. Culture and upbringing is totally different when you go deeper in the relationship.

Its very difficult to understand why they do and think certain things. No matter how hard you try, it can be very difficult to understand and sometimes even frustrating to try to understand.

Eg. My Jap GF thinks its perfectly normal for me to call her 10x a day!!! She gets insulted when I don't hold her hand to sleep. She thinks having a dog is similar to having a baby and you should spend your life savings on the critter!

Probably the ones with less culture differences are the M'sians but there are some sore points. It also depends if they are city girls or country girls.
