hehehe..it was supposed to be just going for a haircut but for me i usually got the habit of checking out the hairstylists as well.let a chiobu do my hair feels good.

Recently,i get 2 dated 1 of the girls there through internet. From wat she said, lots of rich ppl went there for hairdo. Dat's y u always c posh cars parked outside the salon. I'm not sure whether they do FL, but i felt that the girls there do have a high expectations of guys. but i dont think u can blame them cos everyday they encountered "perfect guys". Juz my some humbles thoughts.

BTW, any happenings stories 2 share from 916? I also rabba rabba with the girl while on the date, but nothing special to talk abt it.

Salon 916 has been around for quite sometime (guess about 10 years or more).Intially it was just like any other HDB salon usually patronized by those bookies type of guys (smoking, gambling, etc).They were especially crowded during CNY where playing black Jack was a big thing.
The recent few years the image of the salon has changed, now more "high end" customers are common and long gone are those bookies types.
The gals there are all Malaysian and some of them are really one timers.
Dated some of them for partying (some already went back Malaysia and got married).
They do not provide any "special" services but if you do get to know them well enough and like you....anything could happen. My buddy did managed to bonk one of them after which my buddy never wnet there again..scared she super glue.That particular gal is still working there now.
The prices is a tat more expensive that the normal HDB places but some of them could really give an awesome hairwash/massage.
The gal themselve dont really earn much thus tips are greatly appreciated.
The place is located ate Upper East Coast road, opp. coffee beans.
There was another branch in Siglap center previously but not too sure if it's still there.

Well, above is what I know since I have not been there for a while now (been going there for the past 8 years)...now regular at MTW.

I am a fan of 916 too.

Liked the massage on the neck back and head, but the cost is a bit steep.
The hair cut skill also good. but not a lot of chio hairstylists. got some...

$30 for wash and cut and tips another $5-10. i guess its "yi fen qian yi fen ho" i.e. value proportional to money paid.
