It seems like RAO2 is getting more & more popular. Do not go there later than 10pm. I remember going there close to midnite on a fri nite & saw only 2 gals left at the bar counter. Both definitely cannot make it in terms of looks.

I read the whole thread but still blur like sotong. Can anyone advise on how to get there from merchant court hotel ratchada? Just need to know what to tell the taxi driver cos me no speak thai.

me speak little thai but still have to direct a blur taxi driver (a slightly deaf and old pensioner ...some more) to get to Rao2....it was a case of the deaf & blind leading the blind but we still got there in 1 piece

...tell taxi driver to "pai Ratchayothin" which after end of ratchada rd...Rao2 is just after IMAX on right
BTW, if taxi driver does not know Ratchayothin...ask him "kap ban" (go home) any cabbie who does not know should go home and sleep..

if coming frm Ratchada.. tell taxi driver no need to go on top fly over to turn back.. just use the U-Tutrn below the flyover.. you walk from there.. saves u at least 10-15mins time just to jam there to u turn..

just walk across to IMAX and follow on from there or if you'r a lazy bastard like me.. hail a taxi from IMAX
