My heart goes out to all the Gunners fans here... you guys put in a good fight and pushes us all the way. Anyways, bad referee-ing's decisions over 2 legs, riding on lady luck etc are part and parcel in football... It just happens.

It was just a night where Arsenal didnt really took their chances when it came their way and coupled with under-par performances from Gerrard and Torres (apart from that 1 good goal which he took it well)... What can I say? The hallmark of a European Champion? Overall, a good game to watch for the neutrals and a adrenalin pumping one for the Reds fans.

Now... cant wait for the Liverpool-Chelsea semi-final (think 1st leg would be at Anfield) to get spark off. Cant wait to take the scalp of the London Blues...
I say... Bring them ON. The 350 million pounds? European Champion wanna-be.

Emotions went up and down and up!

Truthfully, the penalty changed the game totally, though I guess we were lucky to get it.. Else Arsenal wont be so open for our fourth goal..

End of day, entertaining game and glad Liverpool made it!

Sorry bro, yes Pool was lucky with the penalty decision, but not forgetting if Arsenal strikers have been more accurate, Liverpool would not have the chance with the spot kick that was being awarded. Remember Adebayor miss inside the box, when the score was still 1-1......

Arsenal probably played the better and more beautiful style of football and i truly admire the way they played...but regardless of all 3rd party factors, ultimately if you dont take your chances and score more than your opponent then you dont win.

The first leg will take place at Anfield on Tuesday, 22 April with the second leg at Stamford Bridge the following week on Wednesday, 30 April. Both matches will kick-off at 7.45pm.
