which I always love to listen and sing along.
Beautiful melodies and so meaningful lyrics.
I know of a sadness in the song but are still very popular songs till today.

Very nice HK songs - thanks. Life needs hardworks /persistences/ endurances to face challenges, setbacks etc in striving for success/dreams. Blame it on fate/ luck/ whatever - if not successful. Will Upz U in future. Cheers.

yes...good idea!
It,s very hard to find kakis who can sing hokkien songs nowadays.
Those early years most spore KTV will not miss out any hot hokkien songs by selecting the song catalogues via name or number of chinese characters or the artiste song titles, names etc...thru the karaoke systems..
Nowadays, cheongtsters born in the 80s only know R & B music and some silly chinese songs...
perhaps can pm brothers here who are into this hokkien category who frequent KTV LOUNGES like M3 , MG , JINGGE, Campbell in middel rd, rasa sayang, EVO 3 ETC..
Maybe only a minor here will know what i am talking about...
