Yes, most of the local or mummy can speak cantonese in xcd. But for the MM, most of them do not know how to speak cantonese except a few. U may ask the mummy to intro in this case. There maybe some MM from SZ, GZ or FS who went there to work. All in all, luck lor if u 1 2 have a gd communication. Otherwise, those fair ladies are good enough to makes ur head turn 180 degree.

If ur priority is a R n R trip and finding a MM is secondary, this is confirm a v v v nice place to R n R with its cheap hotel (some are facing sea some more that cost less than $40) and v v v v v fresh seafood. So dun worry, juz cheong. At least u still know cantonese which u are able to find ur way there.

do we need to make any prior hotel bookings?

does all the hotels have free internet LAN cable? i have a wifi router so can convert to free wifi.

is it safe? i plan to go alone......not really looking for MM....ubt just to enjoy the seaside....n relax. so a room with seaview is important.

how much budget to bring if is a stay for 3 nites?

So long as u dun go during the peak period (summer) and their holiday, u dun have to book hotel in advance. Anyway, to play safe, just give a call to any hotel to check for room availability. Im not sure whether they have free lan cable but some hotel provide free wifi in the room while some only at the hotel lobby. I give u 3 hotels numbers that u can try and find out the price and room availability.

Chuan Dao Hotel: 0750- 5755619 (Recommended cos renovated 1 to 2 years ago- sea view 180rmb but i manage to get discount for 130rmb for 6 rooms i book. But to bargain to 150rmb shouldn't be a problem. No sea view will be 150rmb. Wifi at lobby only)

Hai Shang Huang Gong Hotel: 0750- 5755618 (Never stay before cos a bit higher end. Hotel facing the sea, probably around 250 to 400rmb, not sure)

Jin Du Hotel : 0750- 5753818 (Newly renovated hotel but so so to me only, about 150-180rmb).

Above 3 hotels u can call 13726168438 (Miss Fang Wen Ying Manageress) for price info and of cos bargain with her. Yes, hotel price u can bargain one.

Oh ya, my friend told me Hai Du Hotel just renovated this Apr. Last time the price is 130rmb. After renovated, price increase but my friend din find out. Must stay 4th floor to enjoy the nice sea view cos 2nd and 3rd floor block by coconut tree. Can surf the net to find the contact number.

This place confirm safe to go. For massage, about 35rmb/hour Clean massage only). Wash/cut hair i think around 10-25rmb (cant remember cos never patronize before. Clean KTV, minimum spending in a large room 300+rmb. So for small room, cheaper. A beer cost 5-8rmb at the provision shop and 10rmb at sea side chill area.

For seafood, if u are alone, very difficult to order cos u can't finished if order too much. Prawns - haf KG around 35-45rmb. Fish i cant remember how much but cheap and fresh lah. Most of the dishes cost around 25-60rmb.

MM ST - 200 some will quote 300 (ask them fly kite)
MM LT - 500 most will quote 600 (be firm and say u not first time here. 2-3 years ago only 400)

Entrance fee to XCD is 60rmb. Transport fees u can refer to my previous post.

Hope above can roughly let u guage ur budget. Enjoy urslf.

To find a MM that suits u in XCD i can say sure no problem (unless u r dam picky) cos those MM are very fair which is already a plus point. In term of looks, there are still gems around. But talk about servicing, u really must set a very very low expectations. If u able to get a BJ, u consider very lucky. Otherwise, their service are all very standard. Some just lie down there and expect u to insert while ur didi still looking at the floor.
Mummy can't even control the MM. So all depends on chemistry between u and MM.
