How to avoid demand. Well, I have less experience other than, during rare occasions, from those who had been with me for a certain length of time. This is probably due to the fact that right from the beginning, I made it a point to let them know that money other than the reward for what they have done to me would be difficult to come by from me. In occasion, when a mei mei asks me for something, I told me "没这回事的！“ Once, a meimei from the Sunshine club in Nan Jun Dong Lu (you were there with me when you came back from out of Shanghai"), spent a night with me, the next day, asked me to buy a pair of shoes for her, since it was the first time I met and bonked her, I told her "Use the money I gave you to buy lor!" and ignores her pestering. She stopped after a stern look from me. Overly nice to them would be cruel to myself.

On the other hand, I am quite generous to those mei meis who treat me well, and have been with me for sometimes. My brothers in Shanghai can testify to that. At times, when I was bored (Although seldom), I called them to my room to accompany me, they would come and wanted nothing in returns. I insist of giving them.

My worthless experience to share with you.
