Old 1 don't go, new 1 won't come, so if henry is going, then i don't think any1 can stop him, let juz hope the youngster can slot into the gap that is left by him.

i think the answer is clear for all those who are true arsenal fans... if really henry does play in a different shirt in a few months time, i'm sure fans who remember the great n unprecedented 49-match unbeaten run will give him a standing ovation for playing an indispensable part when he returns...

all hail king henry!!
Sorry, we are true ARSENAL fans where we support ARSENAL and not HENRY.
I support since the days of Wright, Adams, Bould, Merson, Graham..

If HENRY goes, he goes. Up to him. No one is indispensable in a club.
Remember those who all left ARSENAL, did they become even better players than they are in ARSENAL?

Overmars, Petit, Anelka, Vieira, Edu.......

If HENRY wants to whine and lament that ARSENAL has a lack of ambition just because of using young players, then its his opinion. From Highbury to Emirates, there is a big sum of money involved. Who don't want to buy big if they can? Go tell that to Fulham, Bolton, Reading, Boro, Everton.

If ARSENAL is going to buy big and land itself in financial irregularities like LEEDS, we shall be seeing ARSENAL in conference and not EPL.

With or without HENRY, with or without being EPL champions, with or without being European champions, I am with ARSENAL. And that has been for years. Those want to go just go. ARSENE WENGER is not the best in the world yet. If he goes, another better manager might come in, who knows. If the old one don't go, how will we ever know someone better will come in?

Re: Arsenal FC Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

The irony of this issue stems from David Dein's exit from the Arsenal's Board.

Remember when Chelsea was bought by Abramovich, Man Utd was bought by Glazer, Arsene Wenger said that more and more English Clubs are losing their English heritage by selling off to Foreign Owners.

Arsene was against foreign ownership.

Then when Stan Kroenke starts to buy in Arsenal, David Dein (supposedly Arsene's good buddy) decides that the direction where Arsenal should go should be like what Man Utd and Chelsea did.

There is no right or wrong whether Foreign Ownership is good for an English Club like Arsenal.

The rest of the Arsenal Board led by Peter Hill Wood didn't like the entry of Kroenke and Dein's support for Kroenke made it very hard for the Board to think alike.

If Arsene is Dein's good friend and supports him, why the previous stance on insisting on a English heritage football club and not let the club be owned by foreign investors?

So in the end Dein left the Board. Henry dulan wants to leave. So be it.
If Arsene wants to leave, who can stop him? He was the one who started blasting foreign ownership, and in the end because of his friend who supported foreign ownership whom left the board, he refused to sign another extension.

For the past 2 seasons, Arsene has been finding loads of excuses whenever Arsenal lose. Henry will start to say opposing players are rough, cheaters and find every other excuse when lose.

Seriously, Arsenal must start playing like before rather than spend so much time talking in media. Likewise, Arsene should stop finding excuses. If the players are poor, so be it, don't keep finding excuses. As for Henry, he starts blaming the youngsters for their inexperience. For a club captain, he is pathetic. Is it good to shame own teammates in front of the general media? Henry is a world class player but when it comes to being a captain, he fares poorly.

Out goes Henry, if Arsene goes, so be it. Players like Fabregas might want way out, bo bian. The day when players or managers think they are bigger than the club, the club is finished. And from the way Henry and Arsene has acted for the past 2 seasons, it is one of the major factors why Arsenal has not been performing well in the past 2 seasons.

Re: Arsenal FC Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

Even if i feel sore about Henry departure, I guess we got to give credit to Henry for giving us 8 good years whenever he put on the red and white shirts. For the way he play and behave, i agree that he always give nothing short of 100% commitment.

What is more worrying is the impact of his departure. Will it lead to an exodus of players? How badly will it affect the players morale? Players like Van Persie, Fabregas, Walcott etc look up to Henry like a big brother. How will they react?

I hope that there isnt any hidden agenda behind Henry departure. But if you look at this guy who had just signed a new contract last year when the whole world thought that he was leaving, he say i will stay with Gunner for the rest of my career. Now he say i will be a gunner fan for life. Next he mentoined about about the likelihood of Wenger leaving next season. Not too sure if Dein was involved in Henry decision or if there is a horrible power struggle in the board room or if Peter Hill Wood wants to elimnate all possbile support for Dein. After all we know that Wenger and Henry are Dein biggest ally. Then the question of the transfer fees. 16 mil pound only. If WBA valued Curtis Davies at 10 mil, Henry should have been valued at at least 30 mil. Surely the 16 mil does not make good business senses if you compare to the other recent transfers.

If there is really such major unrest in the board room i am starting to think that it could be the start of the end of Arsenal as a major force in EPL and Euro. We will see Arsenal finishing at 5-6 or even worse mid table. I hope i am thinking too much but I cant help to worry. But i try to console myself that if Man U manage to win the EPL after Van Nistelrooy departure and without major stars except Ronaldo and Rooney. The gooners can do it too.

BTW I had just read that Anelka is named as a possible target to replace Henry. Oh no if he ever comes back to Arsenal I am sure that he will be a major distruptive force.

So many uncertainies now but one thing for sure no matter what happen to Aresnal even if they end up playing in the Championship, I will still be a gunner fan for life.

Actually I am think most of others wont be moving .... it may be better for Gunners with Henry leaving as it give the others a chance .... and more confidence to shoot and not worry about Henry staring at them ..... haha..

Even with the current team, I think they are quite good already and can even be champs .... need just that extra luck .... yes, luck is involved even in football.... not just skills ...

Re: Arsenal FC Emirates All Gunner fans fall in

I think it's not just a striker we're looking for. It's gotta be a beautiful finisher.
They lads now can deliver but without someone with great finishing, it's as good as an empty gold-plated shell.

We've all seen the wonders of Wright, Bergkamp and Henry.
Who's next in line with the smooth final touches?

The Arsenal now would probably be much like Leeds sometime back.
Young and eager team wanting to prove.

However, we still lack an experienced finisher. I hate to say this but Anelka would prove to be a good choice. Doubtly Wenger will want him back.

Wasnt expecting an EPL page in SBF .... haha pleasantly surprise .... looks like it is getting worse by the days as Gunner's rival Reds, Spurs buys more players ... can ignore MU n Blues, might be out of Gunners league nopw ...
