Hi All bro here. Sorry to tell everybody that I am new here. Will be going to Shanghai for 2 months from next months onwards. Wonder whether any bro here organised Singaporean gathering to get us get used to Shanghai Scene.
Any good and cheap price to go in Shanghai? I heard everything is damn expensive therE?

Cheap depends on how cheap..... can be like 20RMB cheap or 200RMB cheap or 2000RMB cheap..... depends on what you call "cheaper".... please be more specific. sorry to sound rude but we get these kinds of requests about 3 times a week..... also depends on where you stay...... etc etc etc.......

Hi all,

I was leaving a well established bar on Hengshan road last nite and was aborded by a dz girls, at around 1am, prices quoted ranged from 200 to 300.
I believed that was for a quickie in some dark street, but girls ranges from 3 to 6, and there were not the youngest one for the least.
If anyone fancy, one of them was dumb (mute).

Hmm....are you referring to be invited to a coming Gathering if there'sany maybe? Should there be one coming, I'm sure there will be a posting here to announced to all bros as perviously did. But by requesting one, maybe I would suggest you initiate one hence you needed the meeting with the rest of the bros here to share more info with you....right? It would sound more logical & amicable then asking a dinner to be organised for you...........

Last but not least, do define your question in more specific terms of cheap & good in Shanghai.....what are you needing to find out on? Food, accomodation, bars or KTV? I think whatever info you needed, it's all simply posted herein, do spend sometime reading it & I'm sure you'll be able to obtain whatever you need.......Expensive in Shanghai you've heard? Indeed it is & literally everywhere are in Shanghai! Deepending again on what are you referring to being expensive.......dinner at a 5-star restaurant can cost as much as RMB 500-800 per pax whereas, at a local resaurant can cost as little as RMB 20 per pax with also 3 dishes + 1 soup! So what's your expectations in terms of basic food aspect in terms of cheap & good or expensive? It's a wide vast varying range.......

R u referring to Bourbon Street, the big established bar on Heng Shan Rd? It's the one & only that have the most FLs hanging around there every night......even on a Monday!

0100hrs are usually the last try to tout for biz for the FLs being the night is ending so prices usually drop pretty much to afew hundred yuan...but do exercise caution patronising these FLs as they are known to be hustlers as well, ripping off from their preys eventually, leaving them waking up next morning with ones mobile phones & wallets all gone! A couple of my 'ang moh' friends here encountred that, and eventually still have to hunt that particular FL down the very next night and most of all to pay them afew hundred yuan more just to get back their mobile phone & IDs, wallet (of cuz without the cash inside).........pathetic but true!

Eh.....trying a dumb FL? I'm not sure & shall not speak for other bros here but definitely not for me! Not too kind of thingy to do on a handicapped person.....also, I'm interested for more 'vocal' sex if there's one to be engaged in......

I have been out of Shanghai and once backed, was busy with a big events. I did not have the opportunity to log on to this forum. I just realised that this thread has gone to 323 pages (Well 77 more pages to go before I become a full time reader only). Shall be back home tomorrow and will be back to other part of China week after next. I shall miss Shanghai. I did not have enough luck to meet the honourable brothers of this forum duing the last 9 days. I sincerely hope that my luck will be better next time round.

Relationship between Men and Women is a very complicated issue. One sociology said that human's behaviour is non-linear, i.e. unpredictable and hence complicated. The ultimate relationship between you and your chinese lady depends on your choice and aim in life. Speaking for myself, my family always comes first, this is because chances are, if you are econimically deficient, your wife would, probably not leave you to struggle yourself, but I am not so sure about the companion in China. Remember the oath during marriage "For better or for worst......". I am saying this out of my own experience. I mentioned that once I sank in quite deep in a relationship, and ended up in distress. I survive the hit thanks to some brothers in this forum. Since then, I stay on the B-P-B course (Bed her-Pay her-Bid her goodbye). I keep several such loose relationship in many cities in China. I am happy wherever I go to a town, and I am always satisfied.

When your Chinese companion leaves you, she hurts you, and you feel down! This adverse effect will be passed down to your family through you. Is that worth it?

Many brothers, such as Faidenk, Maninsin, etc have said very correctly that "Do not make it a habit if you cannot sustain the practice." I was naive when I was younger. I was then in Beijing, I had a gorgeous lady from Harbin, after few months, relations turned bad as she was constantly asking for more money (Initially, the unit of demand was 10K, and later she had tried to promote it to 100K, ie, in the multiple of 100K). I have to admit that I was a bit too generous in the begining, and this generosity had been translated to become nightmare. I am sure Bro SGPShanghai69 knows who I was referring to. He got so angry once when were together that Bro SGPShanghai69 would have slap her if not because he still wanted to give me some "Face". I finally made a decision to "dump" her after "painful" consideration.

After having been here for an extended period of time, the important conclusion for me is still "My family comes first! There is no alternative to this fact!"

I have related two cases of my failure to save two Singaporeans who quit their family for their companion in China, and those are really sad cases (One left the wife of 9 months for a chinese female companionship, and the other one was in deep financial trouble and had resorted to borrow from Loan Shark back home!). Sigh........I should have done more to help these two persons.

Enough said before you blame this old man here for being long-winded. I better to and have my dinner and to start packing my luggage to go home tomorrow.

I have go thru actually some of the pages but to date it is near to 400pages already. I do not have such a luxury to explore here. I think the Cheap should be refering to Malaysia standard. Can we get that there? I am just a poor guy. I do not have any contacts in Shanghai yet. I will PM bro here if I get to Shanghai. Because I got a impression that the price that quoted many place in the forum is Singapore standard or sometime higher leh ?
I should be stay near the people square area in ShangHai. I heard it is quite a convenient place right?

I am a newbie here but I felt compelled to add my 2 cents ... to your inspiring words of wisdom ... to remind all bros here of such truth. I also wanted to add to this thread b4 it hits 400!

I have been combing this thread over the last 2 weeks, regretting each time how I missed this forum when I was posted to Shanghai. Still it is not too late to learn of the fun, the places & going rate, the risk, but also "reminder" that we walk a fine line.

I thought my relationship would be different from others (don't we all). That's why we got into it until it got uglier and uglier. Mine did not start with 10k. It started with helping out her new apartment rental. Then, supporting her studying english ... soon beauty courses, father's birthday ang-pow ... you get the idea. It added up quickly. Soon, from cash support of 10k unit, came the investment idea - open a small shop or buying an apartment, which would be in multiple 100k! The "jia-latt" feeling became unbearable. Emotion ran high. Depression sank in. I got tangled up in all sort of problems. My priorities mixed up.

I want you to know your message renewed my focus in life. I salute you and those that had posted such messages. Looking forward, it will be B-P-B for me too!

I'll be in Shanghai on April 8 - 10. Anyone heard of Yu-meng-yuan along HongQiao Road (beside the Tennis Club)? Not sure if it is an HC or a high end massage place.
