ShangHai Recommendation!

Just got back from Shanghai last week.
I must say that the cost of entertainment has gone up.
Two of us spend something like RMB4000 for two girls in the room. This include mummy and pricecess tips + drinks + 1 quicky + 1 overnight. This place has floor show (the girls will strip naked - we had to pay RMB300 for each girl) would be good fun if you have a lot of friends in the room while the girls perform. The place is called Apollo Night Club.太阳星辰 920南京西路 6楼

The other place was JBHH which charge us even much more. Maybe I have my friend who is not Chinese plus my accent is not local.

as my name may suggest i'm actually a former singaporean now living in sydney. i've probaably read a hundered pages or more from this thread and have noted down the various recomendations and with thanks to all bros who contributed. i will be making my maiden trip to shanghai with some friends in a couple of weeks. will be staying at lanson apartments in an area called xin tian de. as me or my friends are not familiar with shanghai at all i wonder if someone could help us. as with the recomendations for HCs and karaoke or bars and pubs i don't know the proximity to our hotel. is anyone familiar with the area we are staying and can provide more recomendations for HCs karaoke or pick up joint bars or pubs? another problem we face is none of us speak good mandarin. would it be correct to say if we hung out at places frequented by caucasians there would be a better chance of picking FLs that could speak english? another silly question would be if the HCs provide FS?

It never being cheap for KTV in Shanghai.
Most ppl will negotiate with mamasan upfront on the expenses for the nite.
On way, you can check with those Lao Jiao before going, then for sure you will not be over charged.

Very much indeed that domestic matters are always cases whereby none of us would be bearly able to comprehend nor would be able to seek any deeper enlightenment into! It's always givin in, bearing with it, tolerating it all becuz we're man, etc......sigh......

Shanghai is indeed a bright lights, BIG City...you simply name it, they have it all here! All the bright, vibrant & sex-citing actions are found in PuXi (or you can call it 'Pussy').....being PuDong where the Int'l Airport & the Financial CBD Area is located which therefore does NOT really offer much actions in night life or plentiful choices of F&B outlets as PuXi would offer.

The Lanson Hotel ya & ya mates all putting up are a pretty good centralised locality, being at Xin Tian Di, the famous 'Shi Ku Men' or the Historical Stone Doorway of the Shanghai past homes used to be. Xin Tian Di past old houses are being transformed into night spots, F&B restaurants now, drawing plentiful crowds, tourists both domestic & international. The exact locality of Xin Tian Di are located on Ma Dang Rd. Just take a cab & tell the cabby Xin Tian Di, all of them would sure to know mate! Rest assured on that.


The bars & F&B outlets at Xin Tian Di are very much pretty dear in pricing, namly a beer costing at easily AUS$10 each. Food is basically costing alot more han most places as well, being Xin Tian Di is a tourist attraction spot.


The nearest street of bars / pubs to your hotel locality that offers both not too expensive drinks, with lots of choices in selections of bars to go to are located on Maoming Rd, junction of Fuxing Rd. Also, at these bars / pubs, one are able to pick up FLs (Sex trades free-lancers). Cost are at average RMb 500-700 (AUS$ 100-130 approx) for an hour fun. However, do exercise cautions as lately the Shanghai Police are having anti-vice crackdowns! Especially on bringing gals back to your hotel...do find out more about your hotel whether they allow outsiders or visitors other than house guests to come into the hotel rooms. Yes, most FLs do speak pretty good english language namly they are out to tout for sex services at foreigners only so rest assured that language is not a barrier for ya & ya mates.

The nearest HC that offers the full sex services are Ala House HC, located on Fuxing Rd, junction of Shun Chang Rd which is only a stone throw away from Xin Tian Di within a mere 5 mins walk that's all mate. The cost of full sex services is a RMB 550 nett (AUS$ 120 approx) for a mere 50 mins.
