Been in forums of all sorts for many a number of years.

Flaming is existant in all forums of any backgrounds. Be it a Dirtbike/Cars/Sex/Motocycle forum.

Sometimes pple just tend to forget the utimate aim of a forum is to share information. Dun get me wrong, I have nothing against flaming or even bring things out of the net. However, I have personally come across cases where an individual talks like a crap on cyber space and in real life he is actually a nice chap?

Meet up and fight?Cumon...cant be serious.
Just walk away from the whole shit. My own personal advise is to totally ignore whatever the person ya involved in a flame war with or totally DUN visit the thread so first of all, you dun get angry (thou the itch will be there) secondly, you can calm down and forget abt the whole thing.

Just my few cents.

No offense to any bros here but just wanna share my opinion...I personally think that it is a childish thing to do to meet up face to face and ultimately ending up with either one party insulted or even physically hurt. These type of stuffs are reserved for young punks when they have their clashes on IRC or any online related matter. Gone are the days of 1 on 1 and ao buay gong tactics as I believe that most samsters here are matured ppl who doesn't act so impulsively.

Maybe to those parties involve in any disagreement could offer a settlement deal online instead of going head-on face to face? Or an apology would be even better. I'm not trying to tick anyone off but just hope to see this sammyboy forum would be a joyful and constructive one. Just my 2 cents worth of advice. Cheers and have a good day

first of all i dont think should meet 1 on 1 and fight it out. but i agree with thaivisitor coz he needs to stand up for himself too. n even though talkcock in the forum is a common thing, i think it is important that everyone practise some responsibility in what you post. you may think it is the cyber world therefore you can get away with it. but i think sooner or later you will be found out.

As a responsible adult (yeah right), I cannot encourage fighting, especially over cyber matters. I do, however, encourage meeting up with people you disagree with, and having a nice cuppa together. Want to kill each other? No problem man, plenty of time later for this shit.

On the other hand, I don't think that people should be sia lan on the forum just because they think they can get away with it. That attitude is just so.... Singaporean (Patriots please forgive me). Show some class, lah. What goes around comes around. One day you may realise that you are standing right next to the guy you insulted on the forum last night. Would you be willing to back your words up?

I've said it before and let me repeat it: It's just a fucking forum (pun intended). Keep it friendly, because you never know who you'll end up meeting.

KNN, I know bros samsters will advise no to be taken in to meet and I believe barrett also knows that bros will advise me not to meet too. So there are few things that he will do.

1. If I take the advises of bro samsters here and not meet him, then he'll gloat in the forums and even PM me to show that he is the winner and I am the coward.

2. If I don't take the advise and continue and ask someone to check his particulars to see if it is correct before buying the ticket, he may find his way out to say that he's not stupid or whatever as he will say that I plan to have someone to look for him, etc, etc so no way to allow me to verify.

3. Even if verified, and I bought the ticket, he can don't come to Hatyai and post to say I am a fool, and because of pride and ego, foolishly purchase a ticket for him, thus having a good laugh.

Because I guarantee that he will have no guts to come to Hatyai to meet up with me for a one on one to bash me up. I really would love for him to come because I really like to give him the "experience of his lifetime" that he will remember and live to tell his grand children. In fact, I was planning that right at the airport, we will be bashing each other and both of us will be arrested and minimum lock up time should be at least 2 months. While inside, I'll introduced him on a guided tour of the facilities, my friends inside, the recreational activities, etc.

But I asked myself this question. Is it worth it to do that to him? Would I lose any self respect if I back out and "let him win"? What will he "win"? Or what will I win if I go thru it?

KNN, although I'm not losing sleep over this, it needs me to put on my thinking cap lah.

Brother brother, swa lah.. no point "fighting" and wasting your brain cells over this small little issue. You are much more of a person than this.

Just ignore whatever he says or do. So what if he gloats that he has "won" over you? You dont loose anything right? Are the views of those (who are not important to you and do not know you) so critical for you?

Time will prove everything, right or wrong. No point to waste time on such matters..
