I was there for just 2 days for work. There is a lot of Vietnamese gals (most of them very, very young) who works there. I was at this hotel called Ta Ming, and went to the KTV. Within 5 mins, mamasan came, spoke mandarin to me asking if I went gal. I said yes, she came back with 10 gals, and spoke to them in Vietnames (southern). I feel uncomfortable doing too young, so had to ask mamasan to bring me her oldest gal, who turned out to be 21... heh. Anyway, Vietnam Air flies direct to PP from HCMC, and it's a 50 min flight. O/N with the gal is USD60 (and my host told me the next day that I overpaid, and mentioned a giant entertainment complex (all in one, casino, disco, KTV, massage parlour) open 24h/day called "The Rock" where the going rate is USD30 - 40 ON).
Border town off Lao Cai
No personal experience and hope to do this soon. A fellow punter tells me that at the border town (on the China side) off Lao Cai; you get to Lao Cai and can actually walk across to that border town across the VN/China border crossing there, is a "complex" fondly known as "Vietnamese Town", which essentially is a multi-story building, all of them whorehouses staffed by Vietnamese girls. From the description my buddy gave me, because it is a buyer's market there, the gals are young and pretty, and the rates are low (USD30 ON).

Maybe we should all organize a weekend trip eh ?

Checked out Cyrcee the other night. A tiny hole in the wall bar with rooms above. About 12-20 girls there, nothing above average. They all seemed to be Khmer, not Viet Namese. ST was 15 and drinks were reasonable. Didn't check into LT and not sure what the barfine is, but likely 10 USD.

Luxury World and Great World are the same Boss. The 2 establishment share the same pool of girl. The girls (Vietnamese, Cambodian and Chinese) reports to work 1 day in Great world and the next day in Lurxury World.

As Luxury world is a new building, the massage room are better. Its actually call Luxury world Hotel. The Hotel rooms are U$25.00 for a standards room to U$30 - U$50 with breakfast. Free Internet access at Lobby. 2nd Floor is the Massage. 4th Floor is the Karaoke (but its a local joint. not really for Foreigner. girl selection also not so good).5th Floor is a Jackpot room. They also have a roof top dinning area which can, still at this moment over seeing the Phnom Penh City. All in one roof.

PP is a small town. Not much places to go.

For Massage, beside Great World and Lurxury World where the fishes in the fish tank and the organisation are better, there is also Yang Zhou Hotel, Mian Hour Hotel, Paris Hotel, Soul City and etc local venue also have massage. Mostly Cambodians and Vietnamese. sometimes u find 1 or 2 Russian whom has been here for many years.

For Karaoke, its has been mentioned in earlier tread. For ease of communication, most Singaporean and Malaysian will go to Joints where there is mostly Vietnamese like Golden Century (behind Phnom Penh Hotel, this joints has the most Chinese MM), Casa, the Old Mega (change name now), 99, Old Star KTV, KTV in Tai Ming Hotel, Private Clud in Hong Kong centre basement, Mahattan Clud in Oasis Hotel (formerly Holiday hotel) and etc.

For Disco, mostly for local youngser, there is Rock, Spark, U2, Heart of Darkness and etc.

For Local KTV, there is Zoom, Rock (yes, the same Rock but more famous for their high class KTV, very elegant but stuff up girl and the most expensive place if u do not have their membership card), Champs Elysees, XO, X2 and etc. these places 99% Cambodin girl and less than 5% can speak English.

For local Night Clud or Dancing clud, there is Golden Boss, City Light, Pacific Kiss, Neak Poen, Mahassa and many more. These places are basically for local.

Another local past time are the numerous Beer garden in almost every street corners. some of these places serve very good local food and have Beer promotion girls coming to u to drink with u and more also have hostesses to accompany u. But, u have to have someone to do translation for u.

Of coure there is the many Puds that cater to the Ang Mos like Martini, Rose, Sharky, Cat House and etc which I shall not elaborate on them.

Went to Mikoda Club which is a half block from Cyrcee and one block east of Psar Thmei. It's about three or four times the size of Cyrcee space wise, and about twenty girls there. All of them seemed to be Khmer, a couple a little above average. ST $15. Drinks are $2.50 I think. Not too lively.

Day 1
I was staying in PP Hotel so I went to check out the Golden Century KTV. It looks quite grand from the exterior and as I was walking in to check it out, this guy (probably one of the floor managers) spoke to me in mandarin and I quote "This is a KTV". I was kinda of pissed, of course I know this is a damn KTV if not WTF I'm doing here. Probably I was alone and he wasn't expecting me to patronize them. Anyway who gives a shit and I left.

I took a hotel "cab" to CASA which is like a stone throw away and it cost me US$5. Anyway, it was a major disappointment. I reached at about 10.30pm and there wasn't a single soul, can you believe I'm the only one there. Probably I'm a bit early so I ordered a drink and hang around for a while. An hour has passed and I could even count the number of people in the club. Of course, there are a handful of not too bad looking chicks but with some guys. I left coming to 12.00am.

Unsatisfied with such uneventful night, I headed to Holiday Club. This joint rocks. Packed and quite a number of hot and good looking chicks. I noticed quite a few that I could easily bonk anytime. Do be careful in this club as I could smell the smoke of ganja, marijuana, weed or whatever you call it and pills are of abundance. The guys here seems intoxicated and high and it's best to keep your distance.

So I was at bar and notice this hot chick and the usual trick of a simple smile and in a matter of seconds she is right next to me. Thank goodness she is a Cambodian (I hope) not Viet. Not that I don't like Viet but I have my fair share of Viet gals so want to try some local delights. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and I'm impressed. The TCSS lasted till about 3am and I was dead tired. This place closes at 6am. I told her I gotta leave and she says she need to stay behind to look after her friend who was high on drugs. She will come to my hotel later and obviously I was not hopeful.

It was about 4.30am when she turned up at my room. I was like already half dead but what the hell. Bonk... Bonk.... She left together with me in the morning as I need to go to work. Haha.. I didn't pay her a single cent. She told me she is not a WL and she was there to enjoy and have fun. What a memorable catch.

Day 2
She called in the evening and wanted to meet up. Too bad I was like a walking zombie and knocked out. Zzz..... What a waste.

Day 3
I'm back SG.

Conclusion
Golden Century - No
CASA - No
Hoilday - Yes Yes Yes

I suspect you went to the CASA disco on the ground floor. the entrance is on the left of the building. the CASA KTV whose entrance is on the right of the building is where the action is. the first floor has a sofa area with over 60 girls for selection, more or less like the Thailand's famous fish tank. you can choose to take the girls out straightaway for USD65 (50 for the girls and 15 for the KTV management, which you can consider barfine) or use the KTV facility, in which case you will pay for drinks plus USD6 per girl charged by KTV management for sitting with you and USD10 tips for the girl if you are not taking the girl with you or USD50 (inclusive of USD10 tips) if you are taking the girl with you. you should ask for the CASA KTV from the people who work in the CASA disco, which is new and always almost empty as most customers who like head-shaking music still prefer the secluded HOLIDAY DISCO.

you are lucky for not having your stuff stolen by the girl you picked up in HOLIDAY DISCO. Local working Cambodians almost never hang out in HOLIDAY DISCO and all girls who hang out there are either working girls or those that have been taken off the market by some rich and influential people. It is well-known as an ecstasy joint
among Cambodians with expensive beer at USD5 per bottle and normal Cambodians prefer to hang out at ROCK and SPARK or the more cosmopolitan RIVERHOUSE LOUNGE.

ST and LT are pretty standard acronym used here to refer to SHORT-TIME and LONG-TIME. Short-time means one or two shot without a short period of time while Long-time means overnight, which vary from the time you took the girl away to the next morning at 7am or 10am, depending on your location and the girls. Hope this helps.
